i really wonder about Ambrosius's warning

he knew the Ever After was down there, and it's not really any more dangerous than Remnant, and there's a known exit, so as ominous warnings go it's very strange

but it makes me think that the Relic spirits might be forbidden from sharing information about the Ever After or the Brothers' pasts (it's never even hinted at in either version of the creation myth about them, and it's clear Oz and Salem never knew about it), and that Ambrosius using that dimensional space for the central location was exploiting a loophole - gambling on somebody falling in and ending up in the Ever After and finding out what's going on

#sidebar on that - the Relic spirits as attempted recreations of the Blacksmith #she's omniscient and can re-shape Afterans into anything regardless of what they were before (by helping them reach that choice) #and we see she can re-create any weapon to ever exist #Jinn and Ambrosius are shackled and constrained versions of that #Jinn can only give a limited amount of information and can't give info about the future #the Blacksmith isn't limited in how much she can give and the Ever After exists outside of time #Ambrosius can only make one thing at a time and needs specific instruction #the Blacksmith is - again - not limited in that regard and doesn't impose restrictions #begs the question then if the Relic spirits are limited in their ability to recreate what the Blacksmith/Tree does because #Light doesn't understand how they actually work and every attempt is a flawed facsimile #or if the spirits are purposely restricted to only what he /allows/ them to do #or both
