update on my computerr (and life in generall)

aaa thanks everyone for all the messages!! im lucky my dad’s a lab technician... thanks dad ;;

so basically, my entire hard disk broke and died, along with all my data (unless i take it to a shop to hopefully recover it but idk). luckily, because we were moving house, i had thought about backing up my work, especially all my SwapOut stuff and a bunch of my personal drawing stuff, which is good... probably lost the blender and unity stuff i was trying out tho, whoops

ironically it was probably when i tried backing up my livestream videos that my hard disk finally broke haha

sadly i don’t think it was the sata cable, my dad took the hard disk to his workplace and used his own cables to test it and the disk wasn’t spinning at all. so he got a smaller hard disk that he had from his office and now my computer works!... for now at least. means i should be able to work from home this wednesday, phew.

since then i’ve spent the whole week packing all my stuff and we’ve finally just moved into the new house, with renovations still going on. i’ve been using my computer on the floor for a couple days cos my new table’s only coming tomorrow *wheeze*

so many things! i pretty much used my whole week off from work to move house and now we might be working from home for a while... woof. also for those wondering! our cat’s doing ok amongst all this, she started eating and drinking normally again for a bit before and after we moved house, but we had to give her some meds again today cos she threw up a lil in the morning and wasn’t eating as much all day. the meds helped tho so we’ll be keeping an eye on her 👍

as for SwapOut, it’ll take a while to get back into it... makes me a lil sad.but it’s hard ;; i don’t intend on stopping it ever, don’t worry, but we’ll see! it feels like i haven’t drawn in ages and the pixelly style’s still cumbersome to do... and i had an ambitious plan for the next page *nervous laugh*
