ARTIST BOOKS- My main research was of artist books- A Hemline of water through smoke by Gracia Haby and Louise Jennison- going against cliche bright colors and earth images of climate change- collaging wildlife and little poems beside the texts- It was visually appealing and even displayed in the library- A Topic of climate change- Having a theme run across the three little series of artworks. Collaged items were scanned in and placed and blurred and reduced opacity in very fresh contemporary yet subtle and plain colours. Then I also started looking into other artist books like "Site and Spirit" Mary Ellen Long 1985- printed on fabric, cutting them open, and doing different experiments basically with art and poems together- meaningfully
