In all seriousness though, [REDACTED] would be very emotional and might need a minute or two before you finally get an answer.

They want to say yes (there's not a single part of him that would ever want to say no to you), but he thoroughly believes that his true self is unloveable. [REDACTED] knows you'll get tired of him eventually, and you'll want someone... different. Someone who isn't so pessimistic or emotionally constipated.

With his Ren persona, it's all catered towards what you like and what you want, so there's nothing stopping them from faking it and switching things up once it starts to get stale. But with [REDACTED]? He can't change (or help) who he is. There are parts of him that even he feels ashamed of, and because of this, [REDACTED] truly believes you wouldn't want to commit the rest of your life with him.
