Hello! Welcome to my first ever twitter au blog lol.
I noticed winx club not having much socmed aus out here, so I decided to make one myself! I will try to be consistent with posting, but let's see :)
I will also talk about general winx club headcanons and reblog stuff (I'll tag those posts as #not an au post) I really want to interact more with the winx community on tumblr :)
â ïž these are all my personal headcanons on what the lives of the winx and the specialists would be. Any haters would be blocked, these are all fictional characters at the end of the day.
â ïž all the ships that will be portrayed here are canon ships. (Nabu doesn't die, so it's nabu and aisha instead of nex and aisha)
Feel free to send asks if you have any specific scenarios or headcanons in mind which you want to see here! I want to be consistent so let's hope I don't run out of ideas XD
#not an au post: posts that are not part of the twitter au masterlist
#iris replies: answering asks!
đ Masterlist
A small description of all the characters and what their jobs are in this AU:
Stella: she's the Princess/future queen of Solaria, she is also a fashion designer. Her very successful fashion brand is called Eclipse.
Bloom: she's an art and history nerd, and Princess of Domino. She sometimes gives guest lectures in Alfea about some of the history of the magic dimension.
Flora: she works full-time at the Alfea Greenhouse, and also helps preserve the flora and fauna of the world with various organizations. She especially focuses on bringing endangered species to the greenhouse to take care of them and make their environment habitable (the greenhouse is huge, its divided into sections to replicate different "biomes" and climatic conditions tailored to every species). Lives with Helia in Magix.
Musa: she's an music artist!!!!! She lives in Magix.
Tecna: She lives in Zenith, and is a freelance software developer.
Aisha: Princess/future queen of Andros. Conducts dance classes in the summer.
Brandon: the right-hand man and guard of Prince Sky, general of the Eraklyeon army. Future royal consort of Solaria.
Sky: King of Eraklyeon.
Helia: he's an aspiring artist, has sold a few of his works to galleries. Occasionally does some art workshops around Magix.
Riven: Mechanic for wind-riders, Owls, and also fixes/makes weapons in Red Fountain. He's kind of the best. Lives with Musa in Magix.
Timmy: Works in an electronics company in Magix. Lives in Magix too. (I don't see Tecna and Timmy living together even though they're dating, I feel they would prefer living alone and meeting up occasionally. They were always simple like that)
Nabu: Wizard and curse-breaker of Andros.
Other characters (will be updated in the future):
Thoren: Sky's cousin. They become pretty close after the s6 incident. Sky doesn't admit it, but he's come to love Thoren as a brother :) Daphne's husband. He is also the right-hand man of King Oritel and is the general of the Domino army.
Daphne: Nymph of Domino. She's a History teacher at Alfea. Thoren's wife :)
Roxy: Fairy of Animals. She's a student of Alfea. A good friend of the winx and the specialists.

music making followerrrrs i have a question for you about. programs and soundfonts and where to get them/utilise them
getting ahead of myself perhaps (though i likely need the extra time for. practice. given my musical ability is 'can play both hands on the piano so long as you don't scare me with anything above a child's level') but wondering what the 'reccomendation for amateurs' is wrt: making something that sounds snes-adjacent.
i have a copy of the.... well named... program Magix Music Maker from a charity bundle years ago, and some vague knowledge of famitracker. So while i'd like some software suggestions im not totally out on my ass on that one. but no idea how i use/get soundfonts/custom instruments tbh.
where i'm actually going to need to utilise this is like. a ways off so it's not urgent, i've got time to learn-- but mostly I know what I *need* is the ability to get something sounding 16-bit, and to be able to seperate out the channels, play them individually, slow them down, chop them up, etc. And my budget is Nil so I'm going to shoulder this myself where I can, since even if I could get my hands on the stems/channels of someone else's royalty-free stuff, intentionally mangling it feels a touch rude if i'm otherwise using it wholesale(?)
#notttt going to google for this because trying to ask for beginner friendly advice on reddit or forums is like getting blood from a stone#so hopefully uh. i mean there's a few of you out there. mutuals feel free to dm me if you want to get your claws in me abt this#but yeah im literally in 'on paper planning' stage rn (staying my fucking hand away from coding until i have some FLOWCHARTS...)#much to my own chagrin as someone who likes to just bruteforce things and fuck about. but i'm realising i'll want something that lets me#make both 16 bit music (think: zelda-y for flavour) for all of about... genuinely two tracks? plus a cache of sound effects#as for whether this will materialise any time soon? i mean i hope! i would like to think i've scaled down the scope enough! christ!#but right now im resource gathering. yknow how it is.#lucabytetalks#also if you're shy you can send an anon i dont mind. remember i do have anon on since i know how it is with being scared on line

Alright, so I'm gonna try some hard uninstalls with Vegas and Sound Forge to see if I can have a fresh restart with both of them. I've moved my project folder onto an external harddrive so I still have them, but when I reinstall Vegas, it can't pull information for them.
I'm also gonna clean out my temporary files and absolutely get rid of ANYTHING related to Magix software from my computer.
I want to edit music tonight god damn it, and I will find a way.

Meine neue groĂe Liebe: Da Vinci Resolve
Okay, das hier wird ein lĂ€ngerer Post also: BEWARE OF THE TEXTWALL :âD

Sony Vegas gives a bad name to pirated software. Now everybody assumes that all cracked stuff is ridiculously unstable and that it will instantly give you an STI and then shoot your dog. All because of Vegas.
I fully blame Sony and MAGIX for this piece of shit. When it does work properly, it barely is a video editing program. You tell it to add a chroma key and it throws up on the carpet. You tell it to render to MP4 and it blows up someoneâs house in Africa. Literally nothing in this program works correctly.
And letâs not even get into how MAGIX refuses to fix any of the outstanding problems with this rickety wooden shack of a program. Itâs been like 8 years since they updated the rendering prompt and it STILL freezes and crashes on VP21. Go back a few versions and it renders fucking nothing and wastes your time.
