Im curious about the 8 shaped pupils and irises! Is it just stylistic? Does it have a deeper meaning?

So it is MOSTLY just a style choice-

BUT I also like to imagine that irl they don't look like that. The cartoonist eyes are all just part of pinkies fantasy. So there are a few rare occasions I might draw them round and normal if she's having a really serious moment. And I don't mean just dropping the Facade bc even that is still part of the fantasy. I mean some serious introspection or regret that might snap her out of it for a moment. I haven't implemented that yet and honestly might forget by the time it's relevant in the future, lol. There's only one drawing I made recently (that comes to mind) where I drew her with round irises, but that was just for fun and I thought it went woth the inspo song (animal impulses, by IAMX)

How long have you've been animating for MLP G4?

Obviously I'm not on MLP anymore, I'm currently working on a different show. I was also a board artist, not an animator!

But I worked on seasons 6, 7, 8 and 9, the holiday special and the feature film for G4, and then also worked on the first season for G5. So a good number of years!
