[3200 Days] - Star Guardian AU 🦋⚡️

"I told you to forget me, but you stayed by my side."

Aside from this piece bringing two things that are part of my life (YGO and League of Legends), I had to bring my Star Guardian AU to celebrate this milestone for Kaleidoshipping. To think that back then, I drew them for the first time, and realized how special they are to me. Being by storytelling, art... They're part of me. And I won't leave it behind. . . And if you're not familiar with Star Guardians, they're pretty much a love letter to Mahou Shoujo, and my fav League skin line! Of course I had to bring my own designs for Manjoume and Ageha, and since they're mostly a tragic ship, the same trope follows here! The love between a chosen guardian who just wants to bring a corrupted guardian back to his side, no matter what... ~ . . For more days together!

(The SG songs were a huge inspo for this one btw! The bg is Valoran City from League of Legends 2022 SG event ♡)

"Jun-sama... I'm here, just like I promised." Ageha broke the silence, entering his office and closing the door, but as a sign of respect, she bowed once more and stood still. They didn't have that kind of relationship anymore, but she was still stuck to her old habits. "Ageha, I already told you. There's no need to be that formal." Manjoume chuckled, while gesturing for her to sit on a nearby table that was ready for them. "I'm not your boss anymore, remember?" "I guess it'll take a while until I get used to it." Shaking her head in slight embarrassment, she couldn't help but to follow his words, taking a seat where a very specific playmat was placed as soon as she looked at the table. That could only mean one thing. "Oh, I suppose you got some free time today, eh?" "Figured you'd feel a bit... Nervous before your debut, so maybe that can help." He replied, carrying two cups of black coffee and setting them on the table, before returning to his desk to grab his own deck. Taking a seat in front of her, Manjoume couldn't help but smirk. "What about a little duel between us? Consider this a rehearsal before your big reveal." "Heh... How could I say no?"

Sharing my very first writing piece for Kaleidoshipping, featuring some post-canon interactions! I've been working on their backstory for a long time, and just now I had the chance to focus on writing! Quite the challenge for me since English isn't my mother language, but I pushed myself to do something cool!

Felt like giving more lore depth about Kaleidoshipping and bringing a more "concept" art for their ship name!

Compared to the old piece, who was legit with a bunch of mistakes and missed coloring, I can tell that I improved my rendering a lot! Plus, everytime I draw Manjoume he looks more handsome than the old pieces I did when I returned to the fandom xD

Also Ageha had to carry a butterfly reference. Not only because of her name, but due to her whole aesthetic as well ~

⚡🦋 [ ~ Hanahaki Farewell ~] 🦋⚡

"We were broken and bleeding, in the name of love..."

Based on the song "Another Life", by Motionless in White.

I had to push myself to do some vent art. Something that I loved so much, or brought me happiness... Now only causes me pain. Then, I made a parallel with the Hanahaki disease - Which is related to unrequited love. Aside from the meanings mirroring the lore for Kaleidoshipping with Ageha being unable to express emotions properly, suppressing them as a way to survive; And Manjoume only catching the petals, not knowing they belonged to someone who silently had feelings for him. This art is also a way to express my own loneliness.

(This is a direct reference to their lore, since both became enemies by circumstance.)

They say art is a mirror of the one expressing themself. Maybe that's true.

Hello! Welcome to my humble madhouse! Name's Kuroi, I use she/they pronouns! I've been part of the yume/selfship community since 2016 and my blog got a little bit of everything! I do some OCxCanon stuff due to my love for storytelling ~

Another redraw with more depth and lore incoming! ♡ . . I did this piece 2 years ago, and now decided to fully revamp it, as it shows an important part for Kaleidoshipping lore. This piece depicts Ageha's first meeting with Manjoume when they were kids, thanks to a wounded blue butterfly she was chasing, but he found it first. . Quickly she could sense he had the spiritual sight, just like her, simply by looking in his eyes. However, the young heir didn't awaken such ability just yet, unable to see Kristya's wings on Ageha's back. I also added their main colors in their outfits, following the color psychology context. . Drawing them makes me feel so emotional, I can't help it ;

Hello there! Thanks for stopping by! It's been fun doing these ask games and seeing that people got interested in my feral losers gives me extra motivation, tee-hee! I believe you're talking about the last ship meme I shared? If yes, I'll go with that! ~

Now for the questions!

7 - Which one is the worse driver?

Definetly Veronna. Not that she doesn't know how to drive per se, she just doesn't have the patience. She's used to track people by foot (and using high heels, mind you), so the thrill of the chase is more intense when she's slowly approaching her targets. Guess the designated driver for them would be Squalo, I guess LMAO

Although, as a little headcanon, I do think Veronna doesn't like cars, but seems to be ok with motorcycles. So maybe she gives a little bit of effort to learn, however in the end she takes a liking for the speed and even the adrenaline, since she wouldn't think twice to add more speed into the mix. I can definetly picture her having one of those fancy motorcycles, a vintage one would be the dream!

15. What they would change about each other?

Now that's an interesting question! Both have very unique personalities that work well when they're on their own, but once getting together, there's a need to learn about the flaws of each other, even if said task would be extremely difficult at first. Once again, I can share their points of view on the matter!

Maybe for Squalo, the thing he'd change about Veronna would be directly related to her recklessness. In a way, he can recognize she's a skilled fighter - Heck, she was able to escape death from his blade not once, but twice. But in his mind, she lacks discipline. Maybe he doesn't understand well why she acts that way, which is solely due to her Stregheria curse. She's feral, unhinged and acts on instinct when fighting and especially when getting wounded or when her ability with blood triggers. Being someone who doesn't take orders kinda doesn't help him either. Don't get me wrong, Squalo doesn't hate the fact that she's untamed. In fact, that's a thing that intrigues him. But as time passes and they get closer, there will be a time that things need to change.

For Veronna, not ironically... She'd change his "pleaser" attitude. Sounds weird, eh? But in fact, that would be directly tied to his loyalty. It's not about giving up, though - Veronna knows that Squalo's loyalty is part of who he is and it adds to his own strength. However, even said loyalty has limits, and he tends to forget about his own needs. Of course, said thing wouldn't be easy to notice, masked by his loud-talking and mocking, but she's observant enough to realize he'd have more potential if for one moment, he throws his ideals away and embraces a wild side. It's not about abandon his pride as a swordsman. Rather, to stand his ground and show why he's the best, not having his duties as a priority, but as a complement. This is a side of him that she saw when they met for the first time, and it was the reason why she realized he was the only man who could give her what she wanted... And could keep up with her ferocity. At that moment she realized that her heart was his. Both jokingly and literally, heh.
