Hello, my beautiful souls 🖤
I am new admin in admin group and completely forgot to introduce myself to you, please forgive me 🙈 Also forgive this post is so long 😂
I'm 26 years old, typical Taurus person, identifying as she/her.
I'm from Poland, currently live in Warsaw, but I was born in one of the most magical places in Poland, which is known for witches sabbaths. I hope I'll tell you a lot of interesting stories about slavic magick and magical creatures 🧙‍♀️
My history with witchcraft begins in my very young age, my Mom was also into it, so my Grandmother etc. Then in my teens I had a two years episode that included occult stuff, then some 'mixed' magick, I don't want to go too deep with that here, weird times. Now I am mostly into tarot and pendulum, I also use my dreams for divination. Sometimes herbs and teas. Mostly I call myself as a healer or kitchen witch 🧙‍♀️
I have leopard gecko named Felicia which is my familiar, and a pet bunny named Munmun 🦎🐰
I am a music lover, I can't imagine a day without good music and I always have some headphones with me. I played violin for couple of years, but after two accident and few broken bones I had to quit music school. I am still able to play, but it hurts my left arm and wrist.
One of my favorite bands and artists are Dir En Grey, Kagrra, (from which I have also a nickname), Kult, Dezerter, Hey and Katarzyna Nosowska solo, Kora, Molchat Doma, Tommy Cash, Fever Ray, Infected Mushroom, Savant, Deadmau5.
In my teens I was very into punk music, especially Polish punk. Now I just love to listem to some good music, no matter what genre it is.
I am big fan of horror books, mostly by Graham Masterton (which I had a chance to meet 🖤), but I also like Lovecraft's work or Edgar Allan Poe's. I am in love in manga by Gou Tanabe based on Lovecraft's stories. My second fav genre is postapocalypse, I have little collection of books by Polish and Russian authors about Chernobyl, with Stalker vibe ofc. Lately I am also in books about history of medicine, my number one is 'The Butchering Art: Joseph Lister's Quest to Transform the Grisly World of Victorian Medicine' by Lindsey Fitzharris.
My favorite Polish book series is about Jakub Wędrowycz by Andrzej Pilipiuk. Jakub is an old moonshiner and exorcist who has paranormal abilities. He chase demons, ghosts, zombies and aliens and drinks a lot 👌
I play a lot of games. Most time I play Civilization VI, City Skylines, Two Point Hospital, The Binding of Isaac, The Leged of Bambo, Heroes of Might and Magic III and V, Darkest Dungeon, Don't Starve Together, Northgard and House Flipper. I played a lot League of Legends (support mostly), but I lost my team and my heart for this game.
I also like to play rpg's like Warhammer Fantasy, Cthulhu (which I am lately GM myself) or Neuroshima (Polish rpg system placed in USA, year 2054 after World War III, postapocalyptic world based on Mad Max and Fallout).
As a typical Taurus I am Netflix and chill person. I watch a lot of movies and tv series. I have a thing for Asian movies 😅 But my movie number one for all time is Psycho by Alfred Hitchcock. Second is Pulp Fiction by Quentin Tarantino. I love movies made by both of these guys. Other fav movies are Color out of Space with Nicholas Cage, Baby Driver, Scott Pilgrim vs the World, Train to Busan. From Asian movies my fav is Takeshi Kitano and his Zatoichi. If you'd like to see some good Polish movies, try Lullaby by Juliusz Machulski, it's dark comedy about Polish vampires. From tv series definetely Parks and Recreation, What do we do in the Shadows.
So I guess that's all about me 🐙 Ask me anything.
Have a nice day/evening 🙃

Introductory note:
In every way, ours were a fairly large, rare and blessed families shepherded too by the ablest of men and fathers you can think of and who for your information were twins.
And guess what; we were raised indivisible under one roof and by the same core values such as love, long-suffering, tolerance amongst others.
As children, we're a bunch of happy, smiling, sweethearts; obedient and thoroughgoing emissaries of the wonderful ancestry as ever.
The kind you can fittingly described as "arrows in the bows of the mighty".
So, in my next poem I reminisced, amongst others, on our adventurous-some upbringing in our quaint little mud house in down town Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria.
Above all, I raised a toast to their noble struggles and drive for excellence grubbing out living in different part of Nigeria and the world despite all the limitations life has thrown our ways.
We're not there yet with fame and fortune; but I hope you'd find our tales of gallantry worth reading.
Enjoy!
INVOCATION
                                To the children of my fathers
To the sudden-blown seeds of ripened fruits
Either washed up along the parched plains
Or fertile soil by the rivers of many waters;
And the ashes remnant
Of a dead old fire,
Which once sing gold like a lyre;
And the dead banana-trunk succeeded
Yet by new tender saplings;
And the deep felt losses and transitional grief
Which are but for a time brief,
Till new a dawn comes with sweet happenings;
Children of my fathers,
What should I say, but first?
Undeniable your good blood and ancestry is nestled so high
Far beyond the reach of world's stores of wealth;
You are indeed as seeds of full grown pomegranates;
The enduring spice of all tasty puddings;
In the heady days of our beginning:
Born on the plain,
           Bred on the rock,
Washed clean in the clear Ogun waters,
Gently flowing through the city founded on freedom.
I remember the sweltering world of our starry blast
In breathless higgledy-piggledy motions
Like the molecules of glassy substance, love-compact,
Speeding down the future's hall with lustrous appeals;
And then I saw the storm arose within your hearth,
With a sullen looks beating its furious wings,
Against our pleading nakedness as scattered weightless grains;
Orphaned and lonely chasing elusive vows and pledges
Of family and friends.
I saw hot tears from your sorrow gouged soul
Trickle down your eyes;
I saw the day disappeared from the Tree of time
Like a fearful bird on sighting the Fowler's shadow.
And the night heavily descended,
Thicken with uncertainties and fears,
But hanged we to that last popped substance
From that famed Pandora jar;
Who borne equally the brunt more gallantly but all;
Down unfeigned by the sense of loss and deep scar
Gashed on the torturous journey in the lonely deep
Of the valleys and hills of life;
I saw a daring numbers wrestled above the ivory towers;
And another numbers pulled the chestnut
Of vocational instruction out of climbing fire;
And more down proud filial cortege unfazed
By the treacherous roar of trouble waters ahead;
Which always hid from lazy views its innate bridges;
Gazing on the lead of heaven anchored lights,
And seeing with clear vision the walls
Of glorious cities with its Golden Gates ajar rising in the sun;
Children of my Fathers:
Aitete ji inu ota ndun.
Because we tarry asleep small enemies are elated.
Aji tan inu mbi baba won.
Now that we are awake big ones are angry duly.
Children of my fathers:
Aji loni aji sowo.
We are awake today into riches.
Aji loni aji somo .
We are awake today into encirclement of loving children.
Aji loni aji saiku baale oro.
We are awake today into good health the chief of all blessings.
Children of my fathers:
Agbe ko gbere pade olokun wa loni.
Let Agbe brings blessings our way today.
Aluko ko gbere pade olosa loni.
Let Aluko brings blessings our way today.
Odidere ko gbere jije munmun pade wa loni.
Let Odidere brings foods and drinks our ways today.
Children of my Fathers:
Throw your faces some perfumed talc;
And wear your brightly banquet garments;
And fitting ornaments for your necks and wrists;
And your hearts make cheery,
And be merry;
For the time of our mourning is gone,
And the days of our struggles over;
Sons and daughters of my Fathers:
Go to the sea,
     Go to the land,
           Go on air,
 Go among the people,
And write with a pen dipped in the sunlight of courage;
Your fathers’ and my fathers’ names in clear Gold;
You have come a long way,
And so deserve this panegyric ray.
