I'm 99.9% sure 'there was only one bed' trope is canon for Xiyao on the run. Just think about it, why would MY have an extra bed? Yeah, he'd offer to sleep on the floor being all 'Zewu-Jun can't sleep on the floor while this lowly one gets the bed' but LXC being LXC would be like 'you rescued me so I can't possibly allow you to do that'. Since they're both sensible and conflict averse they'd accept that the only possible resolution was sharing a bed.
