Hi! Do you know of any Magical Girls who are green and pink, like Sailor Jupiter and Cure Felice? I love those colors together but it’s rare to see this combo!

The only ones that I can think of are Amulet Clover form for Amu (Shugo Chara) and the green transformation from Pretear. And even with them they don't have any pink in their outfits and just have pink hair. Overall there just aren't that many green magical girls unfortunately.

what are some colors other than green that you think should be represented more in precure? personally i think they have been excluding red too

In general I would always be happy for anything new outside the usual suspects, but to be more specific...

I really like Pam-Pam's beige theme, though it doesn't seem like a realistic pick for a future main Cure. White I would also like to see more, it pairs well with pretty much all sub-colours, and I'd really like to see an all white design too. Also black, clearly it's acceptable for a Cure colour, and we've had more whites since Futari Wa so it's not like the original duo has to be sacred and unique!

I'd also like to see more new hair+outfit colour combos, pink theme + blonde hair feels as overused as mono pink at this point to me, so how about next time give the blue cure blonde hair instead? Or the purple one? Or of course any hair that is different from the main theme would be welcome, except pink hair I guess since pink is used plenty already.

(I now remember that Cure Friendy exists, so at least this combo has been covered already!)

Maebashi Witches and Princession Orchestra both giving us a green magical girl. Toei in the meantime be like: Do you want a green magical girl in Precure? Here's a teal one!

Unfortunately the green one from Princession Orchestra is canonically yellow... but she can be green in our hearts!

Seeing Hisui and Hana next to each other with a teal and green backgrounds just show us how different these colors are and how teal Cures can easily be a thing

Yeah if Hisui becomes a Cure, in my heart the mahou tsukai sequel will be a proof that teal is its own category since the season already has a green Cure...

I'm surprised, looking at the new arts of the new Mahou Tsukai Precure series, that it has two different characters wearing various green clothes, normally it's rare to have a girl who wears mainly green in precure, but in this series, having two girls wearing green clothes is nice

It is pretty unusual considering how unwilling they usually have been to do anything with green. Though as someone who makes a staunch difference between green and teal theme colour I don't see it as two girls having the same theme colour, but indeed several of Hisui's civilian clothes do fall in the "green" category even for me.

I agree with anon, yellow has been neglected for a few seasons now! The last true yellow Cure was Sparkle. Yum Yum and Papaya are almost orange, and Finale is whatever Toei said (?Gold/purple/rainbow???)

To each their own! The way I see it, yellow has been such a common theme colour that I wouldn't call it neglected if it wasn't used in a couple of seasons, especially when there are colours that have been used far less. Though the fact that I don't really differentiate between yellow and orange (unless the entire design has no yellow, like Sunny and Wing) is surely a factor here; to me Soleil and Yum-Yum fit both design and trope wise just fine with the yellows and I had never even considered that Papaya wouldn't count. So as far as I'm concerned, other than Mahou Tsukai, yellow had a 15 year streak of being used for a main Cure so I'm not yearning for its return yet.

Really the colours in the logo teased us with an opportunity for something like this! I like that the actual designs were leaked early because that saved me from the disappointment.

I wish they could just officially make a teal color category. Lilian's teal like Milky. Otherwise I'm afraid all of the future green Cures are going to be teal.

Yeah, Milky and now Lillian are perfectly fine and I'd welcome a new colour category with open arms, but I just keep wishing for more Cures like this...

Seeing Cure Milky and Cure Lilian made me think Toei should just introduce a teal color category, it's different enough from blue and green and is a noticeable color. It's basically the same thing as yellow, orange and red Cures. We can have blue, green and teal Cures. I don't want to see teal Cures labeled as green Cures again.

I care increasingly less about the official colour classifications, but I too would prefer it that if they're not going to actually create more proper green Cures, they at least wouldn't pretend to have done that. And like the teal palette is fine, anything outside the usual suspects (pink, blue, yellow/orange, purple, and red and white to an extent) always feels fresh, but it's not really what I'm hoping for.

When I saw the latest HiroPre I immediately wondered if you would draw the new "Cure", since they're green.

Uuhh since I included every Hugtto background rando I suppose he does deserve a place in the chibi series too..?

How wonderful that he got a proper henshin animation too! It's always great when the creators include jokes like this.

I want the same kind of "yellow" for green Cures, they say yellow but I just see lime green.

This really is a nice colour scheme and I'd like to see it more too! Since they're clearly unwilling to just use a regular green, this yellow/lime would be an alternative to the teal they've been using lately.

Ah so it's yet again the time for me to ignore the official classifications... All of the other white Cures have a white dress and hair with some other colour, but I don't see anyone arguing that Rhythm is supposed to be a yellow Cure!

Himitsu no Aipri delivering on that green coded character. As well as giving us every other colors; pink, blue, yellow, purple, red, orange and even indigo. She's the exact kind of green Toei need to use for Precure

I often think it would be nice if the idol genre wasn't so unappealing to me story-wise because the characters are always super cute.

We're so due for another main green Cure. It's time to manifest your green energy everyone! Precure 2024 should be 6 green (different shades) Cures, period.

As the leaks draw closer, hope springs anew again!

An all-green team would be a funny thing, maybe I should try designing one (I noticed that like 90% of my magical girl ocs are some kind of reaction to the generic pink heroine so it would be a change of pace)
