my wallmark black mirror au (specifically the episode "be right back")
i was listening to this song for the majority of me working on this
under the cut is a summary of the episode in case anyone wants to understand the art but doesn't feel like watching a whole ass episode
a girl finds out her husband died in a car crash and shortly after his death, even though she was against it at first, decides to buy a highly advanced android that can mimic her late husband's appearance, voice, and personality. for some time it seemed like he never left but shortly it became too predictable and uncanny and it just felt like an android instead of her husband. she couldnt take it anymore and tries to get it to destroy itself by jumping into the ocean but she stops it and tells it that her real husband would be panicking and crying and stuff so the android adjusts itself and begs her not to make it jump and that it doesnt want to die and she screams and tells it to shut up. it cuts to years later when she has a new husband and daughter, and its revealed that even after all that time she just left the android in her attic because she couldnt bear to let go of it, never truly moving on from the past
