Another fic idea.
Icemav being able to hide their relationship too well as the Navy thinks they had a falling out after Ice became an admiral because he keeps pulling the strings to delay Mav’s promotions. It’s universally agreed that Iceman keeps getting Maverick out of trouble as an evil master plan to drive Mav mad. In reality, Ice is just whipped for his husband.

Your father’s one rule for dating had been implanted in you ever since you had been thirteen years old.
He was an important man in the Navy, or at least to those below his rank, so he felt the need to clarify that you were never to go out with a pilot.
Whenever you returned home from a date, no matter how late, Mav was there to greet you, checking in on you with the catchphrase you had established with each other.
He’d get up from his chair to watch you walk through the door, the two of you making eye contact even in the dark.
“Not an aviator, never an aviator,” you said simultaneously, oftentimes accompanied with a grin and an eye-roll from your side.
You knew why your dad asked this of you and you weren’t exactly excited to have your lover shipped off to God knows where, never to return.
When you met Nat however you just knew she was the right one for you.
You started off as close friends and you didn’t exactly know when things shifted between you, the sitting next to each other on the couch turned into cuddling, turned into making out.
You two just liked each other too much, but you tried to keep it secret.
Everyone knew you and Nat were friends so you two being seen together wasn’t unusual.
You were very happy about that because you didn’t care if other people knew about Nat and you, you liked your privacy and you loved being with her, but you also liked that your dad didn’t know you were breaking your rule.
Days, weeks and months flew by and Nat and you were happy together, spending time together and with friends as well, keeping a low profile with your love life.
You were so excited when Nat started to ask you to come with her to official gatherings.
You loved to go with her and even though you didn’t externally act like a couple you still shared silent glances of loving pride.
Over time there were small slip-ups, a short holding or squeezing of hands or a kiss to the cheek, but all of it could have been interpreted as acts of close friendship.
When your dad invited you and his squadron of aviators over for drinks you were excited to go, and Nat was as well.
Your evening was nice and without a problem, up until Nat went to say good night.
She was hugging everyone until she came to you, smiling at you before pecking your lips in a quick and slightly tipsy display of affection.
She whispered a simple ‘see you later, babe’ before she was on her way, leaving you with everyone’s eyes on you.
It took you a few seconds before you realized it, your eyes widening as your head whipped around to look at your father.
Maverick’s expression was stern and his eyes were set on you, the phrase ‘not an aviator, never an aviator’ repeating in your mind in his voice.
You gulped quickly but Mav only took a second to shrug, a small grin forming as he shook his head.
“Could have chosen way worse, kid,” he said as everyone visibly relaxed, the chatter slowly returning to the room.
It seemed like Nat and you were now official.

Presentation: Dominant: Eric Anderson Submissive: Skylar Evans Topic: Punishment
Eric helps Sky release pent up emotions after being punished for lying to his teacher.
Sky made his way to Sir Eric's room a little more slowly than he normally would. He knew it was a scene, but it was also real. He had misbehaved and now had to face a punishment. Knocking at the Dom's door thoughts on the punishment to come,  he completely forgot to kneel.
He didn’t feel nervous. Sky was no different than any other submissive who had misbehaved; and truthfully he was grateful that there was a reason behind the punishment he had to issue. He felt almost confident; he’d talked about it with Sky thoroughly, and sought some advice from Sam — so with a top secret stash of the famous Evans spaghetti and hotdogs ready for aftercare, he was just waiting in the blonde’s arrival.  He answered the door with an even expression, and didn’t let his brow furrow too much when he saw Sky standing. Instead of ordering him to kneel immediately, he invited him inside. ‘How are you feeling Sky? A little nervous?’ He asked.
Sky blinked when the door opened, clearly not prepared or ready. He  scrambled to follow the Dom inside. "Oh gosh Sir I'm so nervous. I didn't even say hello or nothing.  On... On account of I was thinking and thinking about getting a spanking. I kinda don't really wanna get a spanking." He lowered his head knowing he wasn't off to a great start. "I'm sorry Sir."
‘It’s okay to feel a bit nervous or unsure. And you can still use your safeword if you need to. I trust you to use it sensibly.’ He acknowledge, flashing a smile. ‘Let’s take a minute; come kneel by me at the couch, and we’ll just talk for a minute. We’ll go over exactly what’s going to happen.’ He assured him, leading him through to the living room. He waited until Sky got himself situated, and much like he always did with Caleb and Mav, threaded his fingers through his hair. ‘You know why you’re being punished today don’t you?’ He asked. Being given permission to feel nervous might seem like a small thing, but for Sky it was huge. Knowing that he wasn't reacting differently because if his miswired brain set him a little at ease. "Yes Sir." He smiled back at Eric feeling... well still nervous but at least more grounded. He followed after Eric and settled down in his knees. He instinctively leaned into the Dom's touch. "It's on account of I told my teacher a fib about my homework." He flushed in embarrassment. He could see him relax and he felt more at ease himself. He knew sometimes Caleb needed to know feeling his emotions was allowed, that it was normal and the reassurance seemed to be something Sky needed to. ‘And we both know that telling fibs isn’t something you should ever do; especially to a teacher.’ He echoed Sky’s language, hoping that it would help reinforce the why behind this punishment, giving it purpose beyond Finals. ‘Can you remind me of your safeword?’ He requested. ‘And if I recall correctly, you’re not totally comfortable with nudity and that’s okay. You don’t have to get naked, but I would like you to take your pants down, and leave your underwear on,’ he directed. ‘Then you can lay yourself across my lap.’ Sky nodded is head slowly. He of course that lying was bad. He'd been going to church long enough to know that. He also knew from his family and from his own gut. You didn't get a stomach ache from doing good things. "I know Sir. It's real bad to tell a fib." He nodded as he got his instructions. He'd felt completely safe with Sir Eric in regards to having to do anything he fundamentally couldn't, like getting naked, but hearing the words still felt good. Like a hug. Like knowing without a doubt that you were heard and accepted just the way you are. He pulled the hem of his pants down to his thighs leaving his underwear up to cover his private places. His nerves jumped again as he lay down across Eric's lap, knowing what came next. He could understand that he had done wrong and deserved his punishment without liking getting punished. He closed his eyes and waited for it to start.
‘I want you to count each strike for me Sky; and we’re going up to fifteen.’ He explained. It was a judgement call as to whether or not he’d tell the submissive how many spanks, but for Sky, it felt important that he knew. Not telling him, he thought, would only make me worry or panic. The camera was already set up to record; and he’d edit it appropriately later so that wasn’t a concern. All that was left was to start. He didn’t strike as hard as he might have with his own submissives; both of whose limits and thresholds, he knew better than his own. Each smack against the submissive’s clothed behind was firm, and evenly paced.
Sky nodded not trusting his voice. He whimpered as the first smack came down, but counted it out. He was so grateful that Sir Eric gave him the numbers to focus on instead of the sting of his hand. Still they hurt and he cried softly into the Dom's leg. It wasn't so bad that he ever considered using his safeword. His dad spanked even harder, but still it hurt and he cried and by the time he got to fifteen he was sniffling as quietly as he could.
The crying never phased him. In fact, he often counted it as a good thing; not because he was hurting the submissive but because in his experience, tears often meant purging of emotions, and he hoped that meant it had the intended effect. That Sky had admitted wrongdoing, taken a punishment and understood forgiveness came with it being over. He rested his hand lightly on his lower back when it was all done. ‘Good boy.’ He praised. ‘You’re forgiven, and I trust that you’re not going to tell anymore fibs about homework.’ He didn’t try to force him to move. ‘Take your time yeah? You can move when you’re comfortable. I’d like it you kneeled for me again; I want to talk about why you didn’t do your homework in the first place and maybe figure out some way we can make sure it doesn’t happen again.’ Beyond just a punishment and verbal forgiveness, he felt there needed to be some real acknowledgement of what had led to it and how it could be avoided in future.
Sky was grateful that he didn't need to move straight away. Because now that the physical punishment was over the sniffling tears escalated to full out crying. He cried in shame at having done wrong and out of the built up frustration that came with navigating a world that didn't always make sense to him. He used to cry and have temper tantrums every day when some task or other proved difficult to do. These days he'd learned to laugh it off or distract himself and yes sometimes he lied to cover for his shortcomings. It all ended up taking a toll and his tears were releasing it all. Eventually the tears slowed to little hiccups and he sat up, leaning heavily against the Dom. "I'm sorry Sir. S..ss..sorry."
When the sniffles turned into harder crying, Eric stroked his back, his hair and soothed him as softly as he could, but he let him get it out. It was obviously something he needed. When Sky shifted, he moved with him and wrapped his arms around him. ‘It’s okay sweetheart. It’s over and you’ve been forgiven.’ He reiterated. ‘All I want to do now is help you figure out how this can be avoided in the future, and then we’re going to cuddle, watch a movie and eat some delicious snacks.’ He promised. ‘You’re a very good boy. Just take your time; you can stay cuddled up like this for as long as you need.’ He promised, adapting his previous order. Now obviously wasn’t the best time to talk.
He sighed in relief. "Thank you Sir." He was reminded how good forgiveness felt and how he needed to always have it for everyone.  He really wanted to skip to the snacks and movie but he knew the Dom needed an answer. Cuddling up closer he tried to gather his thoughts. "Homework is hard and..and... and sometimes I do it wrong and then I just get a bad grade anyway and people laugh at my answers. Just....just easier to say a fib."
‘It’s not easier in the long run though is it? Because one fib leads to another and you always get found out.’ He pointed out. ‘But I understand why you did it. Struggling with homework isn’t a nice feeling; I know I hate feeling out of my depth. And anyone who laughs at you for getting things wrong is just unkind. We all get things wrong sometimes right?’ He stroked his hair and kept one arm securely around his waist. ‘But you know, instead of struggling alone, we can find people who can help. Now I don’t know how good I’d be at any submissive homework but you can always ask for my help. And I know both Maverick and Caleb would be happy to help, and so would Blaine. Why don’t we set up a study session once a week?’ He suggested.
Sky felt more relaxed in the Dom's firm, but gentle hold, listening to the strong, steady voice. He shook his head no. Lying always ended up making more troubles. "Yes Sir. It makes one trouble into more troubles." His eyes widened trying to imagine someone so smart as Sir Eric having a hard time with his homework. He chewed on his lip. He certainly liked the idea of having study sessions with all of them, but he felt worried. "I don't want to make trouble for all'a them Sir. I'm always making more work for people." He hated being a burden to the people he loved.
‘Maverick and Caleb already study together all the time. They’ve both helped me with some of my assignments. And I know for a fact Blaine wouldn’t see studying with you as being more work.’ He promised him confidently. ‘The thing is, sweetheart, we all have our struggles and we all need help sometimes. The really brave thing to do is just to ask for it.’ He explained, realising in the moment that he was quoting his Mama directly. ‘I know both my boys would love having some extra company, and I’ve no doubt they’ll have you staying for dinner with us too.’ He smiled warmly.
Sky's wet eyes looked up into Eric's. "I want to be brave." He wanted that more than nearly anything. He wanted to be brave and make his family proud. He chewed on his lip for a long while. "Will you help me ask 'em?" Perhaps that went against the bravery part, but he didn't really process that. He felt safe and forgiven as well as protected by the Dom in the midst of the scene and it felt natural as breathing to get the guidance and help. "I would super like that too." Now that Archer was spending more time with Sir Ryder and other Doms he spent more time alone than he ever had before. And spending time alone in Sky's world often led to him getting in more mischief.
‘Of course I will.’ He nodded. He could see a little shift in him, and he knew that Caleb would only be too happy to take Sky under his wing and support him. As would his sweet Mav who was always giving of himself. ‘I think Caleb’s going to be joining us later for a movie so we can ask him then.’ He suggested, giving him a tighter hug. ‘Now, if you don’t mind letting me up, I have some delicious snacks to fetch from the kitchen.’ He grinned. ‘I’ll let you pick the movie and we can just snuggle together like last time.’
Sky's brightened into a giant smile, a sense of hope filling him. He laughed a finally loosened what he realized was practically a death hug on the Dom. "Okay, Sir. I'll pick a good one we can all like a lot." After a long moment if trying to figure out that the remote there was pretty much the same as Sam and Blaine's. He browses around and finally saw one that seemed right. A Bug's Life had science bug stuff for Caleb, bravery and teamwork for Sir Eric, and those really funny roly poly bugs for him. "I found one Sir!" He hollered excitedly over his shoulder.
