And that was how Yang Xiao Long and Mercury Black ended up with their fraternal twins, Wren(Blonde) and Lark(Grey hair) Xiao Long.

It took a while to talk Mercury into having a kid because he was nervous. And he's not the best at disciplining them, which is a good thing that they have a playmate to keep them company and are fairly well behaved kids. The twins grew up on a farm with Mercury being the stay at home parent and Yang being a Professional Huntress once Mercury was more comfortable alone with the kids.

Both of the twins look more like Yang, though Wren has grey eyes, and Lark has grey hair. Wren prefers to be outdoors, helping with the garden and animals, and Lark prefers to be inside, helping with cooking and cleaning. But most of all they like to go on adventures in the surrounding areas together, and with their parents.

The two definitely egg each other on, and fight at times. But they make up pretty fast. Wren more out going and friendly, and Lark is quieter and more shy. Over all they are both just happy, and well adjusted kids.

The twins trained in hand to hand together, under Mercury, Yang, and Tai and are proficient in different styles of hand to hand. Wren's weapon is a halberd in close combat that becomes a rifle for distance combat. Lark's weapon is a bow that use's dust charges for arrows, and collapses to a sword for close combat.

Wren's Semblance is Dead Shot, able to rapidly shot or strike the weak point of a enemy. Lark's Semblance is time dilatation, currently he's only capable of effecting one being at a time, slowing them or speeding them up for a few seconds.

Their fighting styles, weapons, and semblances make them forces to be reckoned with alone, together, they are an insane combination of fighters.

Shion as the White Rabbit!!

HONESTLY, THIS IS A GOOD CHOICE NGL. I remember someone said Shion acts like a catalyst of the story, one way or another. You know now as I read the novel, Shion is the catalyst to the titular No.6 as he learns and relearns and then his background and experience mesh up to shift the direction of the setting. Shion’s curiosity and nervous demeanor of ‘down the rabbit hole’ is really like him too Also— on the website on Alice in Wonderland analysis stuff, they noted White Rabbit’s

The White Rabbit is nervous and always in a hurry. However, he is confident enough about himself to contradict the King of Hearts.

This is also fitting because Shion’s position later on (and even before) as a prestigious figure and highlights Shion’s personality as prestigious but not prideful, I think? Or is the exposure of being the ‘new person’ in Alice’s human world that made him weird at first glance…?

Nezumi as the Mad Hatter-

Technically this makes sense on multiple faces. One on the fictional effects of people, even though there’s actually not a lot of info about Mad Hatter as far as I know, he (or at least his archetype) remains quite popular, I think that’s also the influence that Nezumi has on reader: some sprinkle of mysterious and interesting narrative. Two is that in the original Alice in Wonderland, I just found out that Mad Hatter isn’t the original name - it’s only Hatter or some variation of that - which is kind of like Nezumi’s identity like ‘masking, unintentionally?’

But also here there’s a bit about Mad Hatter that on other opinions is that he keeps changing his personality, but his devotion and eccentricity remain true. I think this speaks to Nezumi a lot because he sticks to his promises no matter what, and his presence has kind of a charm - whether it’s in the theatrical dramatic sense or genuine - there is a presence of Nezumi that makes him consequently, quite lonely, or becomes more significant (Eve, VC, or his knife skills, or his high empathy) that it’s kind of ironic when it touches his survival instinct to stay low

Inukashi as Cheshire Cat

Okay for one, that’s a very contrasting choice considering what Inukashi has attached themselves to, but also there isn’t a prominent dog-like character in Alice as far as I know.

But - the analysis website, states that Cheshire Cat actually listens to Alice’s concerns and guides her toward Wonderland itself. Cheshire Cat is mischievous, yet also a guidance is a guidance figure too - quite explicitly. This characterization is something that I think Inukashi also has because Inukashi, lovingly raised in a cruel environment, would still lend a hand and also express care like when they interrogated Nezumi or eventually wished Shion and Nezumi to be back safely Also as a guide - could be looking at Inukashi’s role in baby Shion’s life too?

I realized i haven’t been giving any GunplUpdates to the, like, 3 people that care, so I’ll just do a quick review of the nine kits I’ve built since the Zeong

Real Grade Sazabi

Probably one of the best RG kits I’ve built so far, at least in recent memory. It’s big, it’s articulate, it’s detailed, I love it!

High Grade Gundam NT-1, AKA Gundam Alex

This one was certainly an older kit. It builds the same as any other HG RX clone, and absolutely needs panel lining with all the molded details (good thing I picked up a pen recently). However, despite all its limitations, the HG Gundam Alex turned out better than I expected, and poses quite nicely!

I’m not at all biased because we have the same name :P

High Grade Mobile Doll May (Gundam Base Color)

This is probably my first official step into the Mecha Masume genre of model kits, but not my first girlpla (I’ve built the Figure Rise Sulleta Mercury the Artery Gear Fusion Guard Spider Feidy kit [highly recommend] before either of them). I doubt I‘ll end up buying anything more scandalous than this, I really don’t care for the half naked robot girls of Frame Arm Girls or Megami Device.

That all being said, this was a really fun kit! It was my first run with waterslide decals, and I think they turned out… mostly ok. The articulation is really good, the sculpting is well detailed (especially in the areas meant for other fans) and I just like kits that come with stands.

I will say, i do not and will not understand the appeal of battle stilettos (it’s hard to see in the pic but her feet are basically pointed straight down in the heels she’s wearing)

Sakura’s Edge

Another of my few non Bandai kits, Sakura comes from the Armored Puppet line of kits from Number 57. It’s another 1/24th scale kit, which means she is very very smol. Her most stand out feature is her third giant buster-arm, capable of wielding a sword twice her height. The bright pink, gold, and white go really well together, and she just looks really nice! Unfortunately her armor is more of an afterthought from the creators, as some parts need to be filed and trimmed excessively to get them to fit (I was in a VC with a friend, he can testify I was almost brought down by the shoes), and other parts just sit loose, ready to pop right off after the slightest tap, touch, or pinch.

30 Minute Missions Spinatia (Commando Type)

This kit was my intro to 30MM and I wish I bought more of them sooner! It was a cheap impulse purchase from a “local” hobby store I was checking out and it was a really enjoyable experience! It was simple and relatively fast (I failed the mission, it took me an hour), but using all the extra parts and mixing and matching equipment was so fun to play around with and experiment with what looks cool, something I hope to see more of as I build more Hexa Gear kits. In the meantime though, I have a 30 Minute Custom to plan >:3c

Transparent SD Gundam and Char’s Zaku II

I dont own many SD kits, and I think these are some more I’ll snag more of as I shop around. They’re simple and cute! They’re both Cross Silhouettes, but only the Zaku came with the CS frame, so the Gundam is just really squat and even more chibi in comparison. Overall not much to write home about, but still fun!

High Grade Gundam Maxter

The only red white and blue I’ll ever stand for

That being said, this was a really great kit! It’s a shame it’s P-Bandai limited, along with Gundam Rose. It absolutely needs panel lining for its literal abs of steel and face, but it still looks quite nice. It’s very articulate and it was hard to pick just one photo that truly sums up the insanity of Gundam Maxter, perfectly captured in gunpla form. It comes with everything seen in the picture, along with its flying surfboard shield, guns, and an effect part for its bursting machinegun punch. It is such a great kit, and comes with enough ham to justify its $30 price tag, despite the fact that Maxter is in fact very small.

High Grade Messer F-01

I love The messer’s design. It feels like a true successor to the Zaku series of suits. I know canonically it’s built off of the Sazabi, but it’s design is 100% Zaku. It’s got that respirator like mouthpiece, and the spiky asymmetric shoulder armor. Is just so cool! And did I mention this things size yet? It, like it’s predecessor are big boys, snd both stand almost as tall as many master grade gunpla in my collection. Overall an amazing kit!

U.S. Navy receives second 'End Judgment Aircraft' Mercury updated

Northrop Grumman successfully delivered the second upgraded E-6B Mercury aircraft to the U.S. Navy as part of its Integrated Modification and Maintenance Agreement (IMMC).

In a recent post on X, Northrop Grumman said that this achievement comes with the remarkable feat of overcoming the previous modification time in 19 weeks.

Under the IMMC contract, Northrop Grumman will make vital modifications to the Navy's E-6B aircraft, improving the command, control and communications functions that play a crucial role in connecting the national command authority with the United States Nuclear Triad.

As an integral part of the Take Charge and Move Out (TACAMO) strategic communications mission, the E-6B operates within a wide spectrum of frequencies, facilitating the secure and unsecure transmission of voice and data. The main objective of the aircraft is to provide airborne command, control and support of survivor-capable, reliable and long-lasting communications for high-ranking officers, including the President, Secretary of Defense and the United States Strategic Command.

Northrop Grumman has a proven track record in providing support and modernization, which covers contractor logistics support, fleet administration, mission planning, weapon system development, pilot training and software design engineering.

The company's expertise extends to various aircraft systems, including the F-35 Lightning II, P-3 Orion, BACN E-11A, E-8C, A-10 Thunderbolt II, B-2 Spirit, RQ-4 Global Hawk and more. This last contract further solidifies Northrop Grumman's position in aircraft maintenance, repair, overhaul and upgrade.

Mercury EV-Tech Limited: Outcome of Board Meeting and Disclosure under SEBI Regulations

On September 13, 2024, Mercury EV-Tech Limited issued an official announcement to BSE Ltd., regarding the decisions made in its Board of Directors' meeting. This communication serves to disclose significant resolutions passed in compliance with Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.

During this meeting, which took place from 07:00 p.m. to 08:50 p.m., the Board of Directors of Mercury EV-Tech Limited approved two major preferential issues, namely the issuance of equity shares and convertible warrants. Both decisions reflect the company's strategy to raise substantial capital, totaling hundreds of crores, and to strengthen its financial position while adhering to the necessary regulatory requirements.

Preferential Issue of Equity Shares The Board of Directors has green-lighted the issuance of up to 1,57,41,000 equity shares, priced at ₹75 per share. Each share consists of a face value of ₹1 with a premium of ₹74, resulting in a total issue size of approximately ₹118.05 crores. These shares will be allotted to specific investors through a preferential issue as outlined under the Companies Act of 2013, SEBI's Issue of Capital and Disclosure Requirements (ICDR) Regulations of 2018, and other applicable regulations.

The company will seek approval from its shareholders, as well as other necessary regulatory authorities, to move forward with this issue. Once approved, the proposed allottees will be required to pay the entire amount upfront, ensuring 100% of the total issue size is realized. Details of the investors and allotment specifics are provided in Annexure I attached to the formal communication. The prominent investors include entities such as Shree Saibaba Exim Pvt Ltd, Raghuvir International Pvt Ltd, and Forbes EMF, with post-allotment holding percentages varying based on the number of shares subscribed.

Preferential Issue of Convertible Warrants In addition to the equity shares, the Board also approved the issuance of up to 4,83,00,000 convertible warrants. These warrants are priced similarly at ₹75 per warrant, with each warrant being convertible into one fully paid equity share. The total amount to be raised from this warrant issuance will not exceed ₹362.25 crores.

The issuance follows the same legal framework as the equity shares, requiring shareholder and regulatory approval before the final issuance. Investors will be asked to pay 25% of the total issue size upfront, with the option to convert these warrants into equity shares within 18 months from the date of issue. The list of potential allottees, which includes entities like Nexpact Limited, Eminence Global Fund PCC, and North Star Opportunities Fund VCC, is detailed in Annexure II. Post-conversion, these investors will hold significant stakes in the company, with varying holding percentages depending on their level of participation.

Extra Ordinary General Meeting (EGM) To facilitate the approval process for these issues, the company has scheduled an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. The meeting will be held through Video Conferencing (VC) or Other Audio-Visual Means (OAVM), in compliance with regulatory guidelines, to allow shareholders to vote on the proposed preferential issuances.

The formal communication, signed by Mr. Kavit J. Thakkar, Director and CEO of Mercury EV-Tech Limited, concludes with a request for BSE to take the necessary disclosures on record.

Mercury EV-Tech Limited’s decision to opt for these preferential issues reflects its proactive approach toward capital infusion, demonstrating confidence in its growth trajectory. These issuances are expected to play a crucial role in bolstering the company’s equity base and ensuring it is well-capitalized for future endeavors.
