TASK #28 LET'S GET PHYSICAL
This task is all about what your character looks like. I would like for this to be primarily a written exercise, but you are more than welcome to include visuals, if you would like. For example, you can start with a moodboard or an image or a photo set, and then write all you want about the physicality of your character.
Some things to keep in mind with this task: please do not just describe the face claim exactly as is. We know what they look like! We see them in GIFs and socials every day. You can absolutely include that, but this is a good time to delve into little details that people might not notice, or differences from your face claim, such as tattoos, piercings, scars, how they wear or color their hair, if they have a lot of wrinkles, if they freckle, stuff that you might not notice or might not really exist on the face claim itself.
This will be our summer task -- you will have three full months to complete it, and if you're bored? All tasks & prompts are open for the summer to be completed by anyone who missed them! xx

The Bolter - Taylor Swift
She's been many places with Men of many faces First they're off to the races And she's laughing drawing aces But none of it is changing That the chariot is waiting Hearts are hers for the breaking There's escape in escaping

TASK #27 SPRING SCRAPBOOK
This task may feel familiar to those of you who have been in the group for a while, as we've done one that mirrors this, but all about autumn! This task is a bit of a photo challenge, and will be all about your character's spring aesthetic! How you set it up is completely up to you, but every character should post four photos, and those four photos should be:
an outfit your character would wear in the springtime.
their go-to drink or snack in the spring time.
favorite plant... could be a flower, newly budded tree, vegetable in the garden, anything!
and either how they decorate for spring, or an activity they enjoy doing in spring!
Hard rule: you cannot use photos of your face claim. And please don't just crop their face out of an outfit or picture of them doing an activity! We want you to get creative, put a little thought into it. You have all month: have fun!

TASK #23 THANKFUL
I'm thankful for my life.
Despite the fact that we have no relationship, I am thankful for the fact that my parents brought me into this world, that they loved each other enough to decide to have children, that they gave me three siblings who are my family. I'm grateful that their families settled in Merrock, that they called this place their home so that I can call it home, too, and build my life here.
I'm thankful for the lifelong friends that I made in the military. For the lessons that it taught me, the man that it shaped me into being today. The discipline and in some ways, the compassion. The fact that I know how to make a bed better than anyone else that I know, too, that helps. I'm thankful for the friends that I still talk to, and the ones that I pray to at night, who are no longer with us. And, today especially, all of the veterans who came before me and came after me, and will always come along.
And I'm thankful to Maine. For the forests and the landscapes, for the wildlife and the quiet nights and the cool, crisp air that has comforted me a dozen times over when I've needed it the most. I'm grateful for Annabelle Lee and the home she has given me for years, and the Jeep that gets me from point A to point B.
Every morning, I am thankful for the air in my lungs and the thump of my heart against my rib cage. I am thankful to be alive.
