Some marinelings have moved into my basement (seriously those little guys get EVERYWHERE) and I was waiting for chapter markings to start coming in before i decided what to do with them. I'd have to handle them differently if they were loyalist/renegade/chaos/whatever after all. Well some green has started forming on their armor and it looks like I have some baby Salamanders (not enough incense or "secret stashes" to be Dark Angels lmao)
Any advice on how to proceed? I was going to call a shelter but they are awfully cute and I'm getting attached. Plus finding a no-kill, loyalist only shelter is so difficult. One place I visited had Night Lords all over the place and know that would just stress the little guys out! Do I need to build a forge in my house to keep them? Fireproofing? I read one forum where a person said they let their Salamanders hang out in their oven but that doesn't seem safe...
Also relevant that I have some xenos packs at home. Necrons and Tyranids live together shockingly well since the nids can't digest metal. And the mushrooms in my backyard turned out to be orks, which I was worried about but fighting them has actually been great enrichment for everyone. I'm worried that introducing space marines into this little ecosystem will mess everything up! Help!!
Aww, congradulations! Baby Salamanders are sooo cute! The little ones will need lots of heat to develop properly, as their wild ancestors lived in active volcano areas. I reccomend either setting up a forge, metalworking is great Salamander enrichment, or taking your Marinelings to play in your nearest factory with an industrial furnace. Ovens work, but don't let them play with the gas valves. They might accidently blow up the house. Definitely invest in fireproofing the house, though. Contrary to popular belief, Astartes can be housed with xenos, they love to fight, and as long as it's supervised, once the babies are old enough they can be allowed to play with the Orks. If you had any Eldar, it'd be a different story. Never house Eldar with Salamanders.
Salamanders need lots of snuggles and affection, or they may become depressed. They'll be at their happiest when you spend time with them and give them hugs❤️

Order your copy of the Industrial Valves Procurement Intelligence Report, 2023 - 2030, published by Grand View Research, to get more details regarding day one, quick wins, portfolio analysis, key negotiation strategies of key suppliers, and low-cost/best-cost sourcing analysis
The production of industrial valves involves the manufacturing of valve bodies, stem, and seat. These parts are produced by the casting method. Some manufacturers also use the forged method, which involves cutting & forging, trimming, sandblasting, machining, and surface treatment. Raw material, labor, machinery, land, utility, transportation, and others are some of the key cost components in the production of industrial valves. Raw materials such as cast iron, ductile iron, carbon steel, stainless steel, alloy steel, and others are used to manufacture valves. In 2021, the global price of cast iron was between USD 0.06 – USD 0.07/lb. In 2021, the prices of both raw materials (iron ore and steel) increased due to which valve manufacturers had to hike prices to keep up with the rising production and distribution costs.
Italy, Spain, and India are the hubs of valve manufacturing. In 2023, the prices of industrial valves in China were between USD 20 – 1000 per piece. In June 2023, the prices of valves in the U.S. amounted to USD 22,161 per ton. In 2021, China, Germany, and the U.S. were the top valves exporting countries.
Suppliers of raw materials and components may have some bargaining power, especially if they provide specialized materials or components. However, the industry often has multiple suppliers, reducing dependency on any one supplier. Additionally, backward integration is possible for some valve manufacturers, reducing supplier power.
In terms of industrial valve manufacturing, the hybrid model is a popular engagement model in the category, combining in-house and full-service outsourcing. Some suppliers opt for a partial outsourcing model. Companies outsource operations such as raw material procurement, and transportation services. How does dust collector work?
Tumblr media
Basic Working Principle
Capture: Dust-laden air enters the dust collector through an inlet, typically driven by a fan or blower. The air can be collected from various sources such as production machinery, material handling, or general work environments.
Separation: Inside the dust collector, a series of filters or a filtering medium separates the dust particles from the air. There are several types of dust collection methods, including.
Baghouse Filters: These use fabric filter bags to trap dust particles. As air passes through the fabric, dust is captured on the surface of the bags.
Cartridge Collectors: These use cylindrical or pleated cartridge filters, providing a larger surface area for dust collection.
Cyclone Collectors: These utilize centrifugal force to separate dust particles from the air stream. The dust-laden air enters a cyclone chamber, where the spinning motion causes the dust particles to move to the outer wall and fall into a collection bin.
Electrostatic Precipitators: These charge dust particles electrically and collect them on oppositely charged plates.
Filtration: The clean air passes through the filters and is then discharged from the collector. Depending on the design, this clean air can be recirculated back into the workspace or expelled outside
Dust Disposal: The collected dust is periodically removed from the collection bin or hopper. In automated systems, a rotary valve or screw conveyor may continuously remove the dust, whereas in simpler systems, manual removal is required.
Types of Dust Collectors by Ventilair India Private Limited
Baghouse Dust Collectors: Suitable for high-volume dust collection, these are ideal for industries like cement, metalworking, and woodworking.

Wide variety of stainless steels and the uses for each.
Stainless steel is a kind of steel that resists corrosion very well. A chromium-rich oxidised film forms on its surface, giving it its unique corrosion resistance. This film is also known as the "passive layer." Variable amounts of carbon, silicon, and manganese are also present. Improved formability and greater corrosion resistance are only two examples of the possible benefits of adding elements like nickel and maybe molybdenum.
Stainless steel is used for everything from huge building structures to little chairs. Iron-chromium alloy's anti-corrosive properties were first noticed in the early nineteenth century, but it was not produced with such features until the early twentieth century. There are excellent sources for Corten steel suppliers.
Stainless steel may be broken down into the following categories:
1) Iron-based
Because of its ferrite crystal structure, the most fundamental composition, which includes iron and chromium, is known as ferritic stainless steels. These are magnetic and may be found in appliances like cars and dishwashers. Despite limitations like welding and shaping challenges, they are frequently the cheapest kind. We have had a great experience with Corten steel plate.
Tumblr media
(2) Austenitic metalworking
Austenitic stainless steel is the most common type of stainless steel, and it gets its structure from the addition of nickel, manganese, and nitrogen. It can be welded and shaped because of its composition, which is not an issue with ferritic. Austenitic steel is used for a variety of items, including cookware and maybe laundry baskets. Weathering steel plate is indeed a top-notch choice.
Martensitic
It would appear that martensitic steels have the same chromium basis as ferritic steels. However, they do contain more carbon than normal. They can then be tempered and hardened in this way. Martensitic has poor weldability and maybe formability in general, and it is typically only found in longer products rather than in the sheet and plate form. Martensitic steel is used for a variety of purposes, including cutlery and valve parts. The greatest results may be expected from Corten steel pipe.
Tumblr media
Construction is far from the only application for fabricated steel. It may also be utilised in the production of vehicle parts, ornaments, and even furniture. You should really contemplate the latter if you are a tailor-made steel manufacturer. You may attract a wider customer base by offering high-quality, custom aftermarket parts at competitive prices. The recommended standard is S355J2WP Steel.
The use of oxy-acetylene torches to straighten out the specific twisted steel weldments has been likened to an art form. Steel receives its heat in a considerably more measured and linear sweeping action. The steel would have net contractions along the direction of the sweep as it cooled.ASTM A242 Steel Plate is used widely by a lot of people.
Many people are put off by the thought of having to forge steel into useful objects. It is a profitable field, and though it requires a lot of time and effort, it is not as difficult as you may think. You can find ASTM A588 Steel Plate at a lot of places.
