#lovelikecherryblossomswebcomics #chibistyle #cute #cutetemplates #midtermproject I just finished one of my midterm project, and I redraw some of the characters of my favorite webcomic "Love Like Cherry Blossoms" and "Once Again" (I wish I mentioned the title correct), and some other cutesies that made this project more cuter.😚 Btw, I loved the color of the background. I've inserted blue, purple, pink and green light shades in there.🌻 https://www.instagram.com/p/CUrYu3VPCaw/?utm_medium=tumblr

Thinking Small Scale
Creating a Miniature Environment
When I first began brainstorming an environment, I really wanted to connect it to our reality of today and the extinction of animals and insects, specifically bumblebees. The reflective copper color reminded me of honey, and I also had pieces of decorative material that was pre-painted gold. I cut that material into sections to fill in majority of the canister except the back.
My goal is to present my feelings about the importance of this species, although we might have alternatives to do the work bees do, it would not be as efficient. I created a Dead End Sign out of pre-colored yellow large popsicle sticks, so that the viewer can look into our solutions. hence there is "No Other Way" than to protect the bees and create a safer environment.

Midterm Project: Alter-ego
For my midterm project on ATHEORY, I chose and made the Spartan Helmet or also called "Corinthian helmet". The Spartan bravery is so wonderous and heroic. I want to be more brave and heroic like them, for my country but not only for my country, also for my one and only sister. I'm always ready to defend her and fight for her safety all the time. I'm always here when she needed me.
My spartan helmet procedures/documentations below and also my video presentation final outputs.
⬇️ ⬇️ ⬇️
This time, I only used glue sticks and white folder. I cut a thick strips of folder and form like a base of my helmet. I measured it to secured that it fits to my head. I also used glue stick to make it sure that it is durable and tough.

Cutting a small as like triangle shape. I made 4 of these for each triangle holes and put all together to form like this.

I sketch for my face plate, my protection of my face and cut it then I put it all together.

I made the crest as well. I also cut a thin pieces of folder to look like a plume for mohawk part of the helmet.

Then put all and all together......
And........
🔥🔥This is my final output of my SPARTAN HELMET made on folder. 🔥🔥

My photo shoot and video presentation.
🔥spartann!!🔥

MIDTERM PROJECT

My project was a Piggy Bank, My concept Behind this project was to make my own personal piggy bank where i can save money, It was interesting to me so i thought it would interest to use it aswell and at the same time it would help me too.
Attached is the picture of my setup of arduino.
How it works:
It works with ultra sonic sensor as you can see in picture above, which is also called distance sensor, with sensor you put your hand in-front and it opens the piggy bank with the help of servo motor to put the money in piggy bank.
Code:
#include <Servo.h> //servo library Servo servo; int trigPin = 5; int echoPin = 6; int servoPin = 7; int led= 10; long duration, dist, average; long aver[3]; //array for average void setup() { Serial.begin(9600); servo.attach(servoPin); pinMode(trigPin, OUTPUT); pinMode(echoPin, INPUT); servo.write(0); //close cap on power on delay(100); servo.detach(); } void measure() { digitalWrite(10,HIGH); digitalWrite(trigPin, LOW); delayMicroseconds(5); digitalWrite(trigPin, HIGH); delayMicroseconds(15); digitalWrite(trigPin, LOW); pinMode(echoPin, INPUT); duration = pulseIn(echoPin, HIGH); dist = (duration/2) / 29.1; //obtain distance } void loop() { for (int i=0;i<=2;i++) { //average distance measure(); aver[i]=dist; delay(10); //delay between measurements } dist=(aver[0]+aver[1]+aver[2])/3; if ( dist<50 ) { //Change distance as per your need servo.attach(servoPin); delay(1); servo.write(0); delay(3000); servo.write(150); delay(1000); servo.detach(); } Serial.print(dist); }

Steps 3 and 4 of the weaving process. Putting threads through the heddles, (which are under the large wooden section in the center of my weaving ). Then weaving :) We use toilet paper here to start, so that the threads are spaced evenly before we begin actual weaving. You can see it hanging off the sides of my piece #midtermproject #artstudent #ccatextiles #weavingprocess #artschoolproject

PROJECT OPTION 3- ARTICLE REVIEWS (EXPORT MANAGEMENT)
1.) “ U.S. Beef Exports to China Closer to Restarting “
( https://www.bloomberg.com/politics/articles/2017-06-15/aussie-leader-lampoons-trump-in-speech-mentioning-russian-guy )
This article explains the resumption of American beef exports to China after a 14-year hiatus and the agreement with china to promote access for american products including “beef” amid a broader effort to reshape the trade relationship between the countries.
This trade between china and america is a stepping stone and a door for them to have long-lasting and mutually beneficial.
2.) “ Britain’s biggest export: Wealth”
The current-account deficit might explain Britain’s joyless recovery.
Britain is famously open to overseas investment, with national brands like “Cadbury” (a well known chocolate brand) and “Rolls-Royce” Motors in foreign hands. Overseas investments did not just produce bountiful returns: they increased in value, too. That helped Britain finance the remaining deficit. Britain could consume and thus import less, hope its investments improve or export more. With interest rates near zero and some spare capacity, a move from spending to saving would harm the economy
3.) “Thinking Global, Invest Local”
Calling passive investors. Come in passive investors.
Passive investing has a simple and appealing mantra: Just buy the market. But good luck finding its adherents. Not even Jack Bogle, who introduced the first passive index fund in 1976 and is widely considered the father of passive investing, can be counted among them.
This article shows one such bias is a common belief among active managers that their bets represent a contrarian view of markets. Bogle cautions that “the crowd is always wrong” and that “if you believe in the majority, you can just throw my opinion in the wastebasket.”
