i think if rick believed a little ugly dying bug on the floor was morty he would pick it up and give it not only irs wings back but he would carefully put together tiny intricately made beautiful powerful robot wings and he’d make a painting out of the colour of the ugly dying bug morty’s old wings so that they’d never forget them and he’d hold him on his finger up to the painting to look at it and he would let him crawl all around on his hands and stuff even though itd feel weird and tickly
