10, 52, and 98 for Josie (sorry separate ask because I'm on mobile and i can't remember too many numbers lol)
Thanks for the questions! (ANd no problem, there’s a lot to remember! Plus it was easier to answer them separately anyway!)
10. Do they have any nick names?
Mostly just shortened versions of her name, Josie/Jo All th cute pet names from Roxy. (And lets face it sometimes the others, too.) Her favorite is sweetie or sweetheart. uwuAlso, Joan and Lauren have both affectionately referred to her as kiddo and blondie on a few occasions. I feel like there’s more like that but I don’t remember off the top of my head aaa..
52. Are they more emotional or logical?
Definitely more emotional! She’s full of all sorts of feelings and she usually feels them very strongly! She gets used to following her gut feelings more than The Logical Option. She has a hard time thinking clearly when she’s upset,, and she gets upset easily. She cries easily too, with any emotion. Sad tears, happy tears, angery tears.
98. How do they calm themselves down?
Since she gets upset so easily, she’s both used to trying to calm herself, but also,, it sometimes overwhelms her a little too much and she has a hard time. When it’s minor, she always Tries to start with steadying her breathing and says a lot of reassuring things to herself/in her head. It’s okay you’re okay u can do this dont cry. Lil pep talk! It might not always work but it’s a start. She’ll normally find something to keep her hands busy, or she’ll focus on a lil task if she can. She used to subconsciously braid strands of her hair when it was long! She also plays with the moon necklace Roxy gave her, just, lil comforting items and things like that. If she can, she might step away so she can get some fresh air or a moment to herself. She likes having other people calm her,, but normally just one person and if there’s a bigger crowd she’d rather be by herself. Still if she has to go to Roxy she has no problem,, she’s calming herself down by asking for help!!
If it’s really bad, she really needs to ground herself and might pinch herself/dig her nails into her skin so she feels something,, so she knows she’s really there?? Which doesn’t.. Sound calming to hurt yourself but. It might snap her out of it for a bit. She relies heavily on other people more when it’s bad. She can normally manage to stay calm enough on her own,, at least keep herself in a low panic so it doesn’t get to that point,, but when it gets that bad it usually happened suddenly? Like, she had a nightmare and immediately woke up in panic mode or something,, so it’s disorienting which causes More Panic and it’s harder for her to handle that on her own still. She’s working on it!!
I’m sorry I didn’t mean to end this on a sad note aGAIN. But thank you for asking!!
