If you compared this year and last year’s State of Emergency side by side, it couldn’t be a more different reaction for Rickey Shane Page, last year the entire crowd shouting for Nick Gage to murder him, this year, the crowd quite literally chanting “R-S-P’s my favorite wrestler!” Matt Cardona rolling his eyes at the response of the crowd here tonight, clearly not impressed with either Rickey or their little chants. Referee Tom Dunn calls for the bell, and the second he does, Matt Cardona charges across the ring at Rickey Shane Page, but RSP catches him in mid-air as he goes for Radio Silence, and drives Cardona down across his knee with a Chokebreaker! Rickey’s got Cardona down, this might be it!

1…..2… KICKOUT!

Cardona out at two! Cardona rolls for the corner, quickly trying to regain himself, as Rickey charges in, but Cardona gets both of his knees up, sending Rickey stumbling backward. Cardona hops up onto the second rope, measures, and tries to launch himself at RSP with a missile dropkick, but Rickey sidesteps, sending Matt crashing to the mat, no water in the pool! Rickey mocks Cardona for not being very smart on that one, before watching Cardona pull himself up in the corner again. RSP hits the ropes, and charges in, nearly taking Cardona’s jaw off with a corner forearm! Cardona stumbles, and immediately gets picked up by RSP, raised up into a gorilla press, and dropped flat on his face!

Cardona rolls to his back, as Rickey takes a moment to play to the fans, beginning to simulate… whatever the hell Mojo Rawley used to do before his big fist drop, although it certainly looks a lot more like Rickey is imitating jerking off, before Rickey drops his fists down on Cardona’s head! A double dose of pain and humiliation for the self-proclaimed Deathmatch King!

Cardona rolls to the outside, where RSP follows him, RSP catching him with a couple of right hands against the guardrail, before grabbing Cardona and making sure to get him back into the ring. RSP gets back on the apron, and Cardona charges him, trying to nail Rickey with a fist, which Rickey blocks, and then peppers Cardona with one of his own, but as RSP tries to get back into the ring, Matt Cardona kicks the middle rope between Rickey’s legs, effectively low blowing Rickey! Rickey falls down, clutching at his male parts, as Cardona measures, and launches himself through the ropes with a dropkick on RSP, knocking him against the guardrail! Matt Cardona then grabs Rickey off the guardrail and drives Rickey down onto the floor with a double arm DDT! Rickey’s head gets spiked right down onto the concrete floor!

Cardona grabs Rickey and tosses him right back into the ring, before quickly mounting him, and raining down punches! Cardona trying to beat Rickey’s face in! Referee Tom Dunn practically has to rip Matt Cardona off of Rickey Shane Page, but Cardona still nails RSP right in the head with a big stomp. Cardona takes a second to take a lap around the ring, flipping off the MPW fans here in attendance. It’s so clear that Matt Cardona has such a deep disdain for the MPW fans, it’s a question as to why he even continues to come back- except, it’s clear at this point that the disdain is the point. He wants to ruin the good time of the MPW fans, and crush all of their heroes. Matt Cardona marches back over to RSP, using his knee to choke Rickey Shane Page down in the corner! Once again, Tom Dunn needs to pull Matt Cardona off Rickey Shane Page!

Cardona drags RSP out of the corner again, and peppers him with a couple of straight right hands, before Cardona whips RSP across the ring, so hard, that Rickey hits the turnbuckles and collapses to the mat! Cardona has RSP in a world of hurt at the current moment! Matt Cardona then takes the opportunity to pull his shirt off, and then use his shirt to choke Rickey Shane Page in the center of the ring! Rickey’s face starts turning red, and Tom once again has to pull Cardona off of RSP. Cardona throws the shirt aside as Rickey rolls towards the corner. Cardona follows him in, charging at him, and nailing him with a big forearm shot in the corner, before dragging RSP out of the corner, and dropping him with a neckbreaker! Cardona goes for the cover!

1….2… Kickout!

Rickey out at two. Cardona rolls over to the side of the ring where he’d dropped off his vest, producing… a pizza cutter?! Matt Cardona has a Pizza Cutter! Matt Cardona was gonna slice RSP open! Cardona holds up the pizza cutter… before immediately throwing it aside, dropping down, and locking in a headlock! The crowd boos, being denied the blood these MPW crowds usually crave, and just rubbing in his current domination over this match. Cardona continues to wrench down on the hold, as Rickey tries to fight back up to his feet. RSP starts driving elbows into Cardona’s ribs, before shoving Cardona off of him. Cardona rolls to the corner, and RSP tries to charge in, but Cardona dodges, and RSP goes careening into the ringpost! RSP drops down into the corner, having just possibly wiped out his own shoulder on that one! Cardona smirks and measures RSP, before giving a very sarcastic WOO! WOO! WOO!, charging at RSP, going for the Broski Boot, but Rickey gets up and sends Cardona up and over the top rope, taking a long hard fall down to the floor!

Rickey goes out to collect Cardona, rolling him back into the ring. Rickey grabs Cardona from up off the mat, in order to grab him, and whip him into the corner, and with Cardona rebounding off the corner, Rickey sends him up for a backdrop, catching Cardona with a kick on the end of it! Cardona rolls around clutching his back, as RSP drops down and makes the pin!

1…2… kickout!

Cardona out at two once again! Rickey sighs in frustration, before getting back to his feet, trying to pick Cardona back up, but as he does, Cardona catches him with a Game Changer! Double knees right to the face! RSP falls back down into the corner, and now Matt Cardona has Rickey right where he wants him…

Cardona measures, charges in, and blasts RSP with a Broski Boot! Boot right to the head! Apparently what wasn’t enough for Cardona, because he gets back to his feet, turns back around, and launches himself at RSP again, blasting him with another Broski boot! And then Cardona get up and nails ANOTHER Broski Boot! Cardona drags RSP out of the corner, after having maybe just knocked him unconcious!

1… KICKOUT!

RSP out at just one! RSP shoves Cardona off of him, and Cardona can’t believe it! Cardona thought he’d just knocked out RSP! Cardona looks around, before charging at rickey again, looking to finish this, but RSP catches him in mid air around the throat! Rickey drives Cardona into his knee with a Chokebreaker! Cover! It’s over!

1….2….3!

“Here is your winner, Rickey-…”

As soon as the ref called it, he’s waving it off. Matt Cardona got a foot on the ropes at two, and this match is still going. RSP gets up and starts complaining to the referee, who’s telling Rickey that Cardona got his feet on the ropes. Rickey keeps trying to plead his case to the ref, but as his body is blocking the ref’s line of sight, Cardona swings his foot up and catches Rickey low! Rickey stumbles backward, clutching at his lower region, as Cardona gets back up, hits the ropes, and drops Rickey with a Radio Silence! Cardona has him! Cover!

1…2… kickout!

RSP out at two! Rickey kicked out of Radio Silence! Cardona can’t believe it! Cardona, going for just about the only bigger bang he had, climbing to the top rope, and going for a Top Rope Radio Silence! But Rickey gets out of the way! No water in the pool for Cardona! Cardona gets up, clutching his chest, as Rickey grabs him around the throat, going for the Chokebreaker, but Cardona rolls through as he gets thrown up, getting rickey’s shoulders down, and then grabbing a handful of tights! Ref doesn’t see it!

1…2…3!
