　このウォシュットコーヒーが生産されたMurang'a地方は、火山性の土壌とコーヒー生産には理想的な18-25℃の気候が特徴です。年間降水量は1000-1400mm程で、2つの降雨シーズンがあり、3-6月には長い雨が9-11月は短い雨が降ります 。

　1600-1800mの高度に位置するKahuhia Farmers Cooperative Societyは2855人のメンバーで構成され、農場ごとに約150本のコーヒーの木があります。また、Kahuhia、Ngwethe、Wanjengi、Gathinjaに4つのウェットミルを有しています。

　タイムリーで厳格なハンドピッキングはKahuhiaのメインミルで行われます。処理用の水はGathamba川から引いています。収穫されたコーヒーチェリーは同日にウェットミルに届けられ、選別された後 パルピングされます。赤く熟したチェリーが選別され、未熟な実、過熟な実、異物は除去されます。ウォッシュトプロセスで処理され、処理に使われた水は 蒸発および浸透ピット/ラグーンを経由して再循環されています。 慎重な発酵処理と洗浄後にパーチメントコーヒーは二次処理のためドライミルに運ばれ 太陽の下でゆっくり乾燥させられます。

　先にリリースしたNjuriga FCSと飲み比べても面白いと思います（少しの間ラインナップが重なります）。ライトな印象で、プラムやクランベリーのような果実感を ケニアらしいハーバルな余韻の中に楽しむことができます。是非お試しください！
