 In my joy the great author of scince fiction,occult and horror Howard Ph. Lovecraft has a great deal of good Impact on Japanese mangakas,animators as well.So that’s what led to the crowdfunded anime movie “NAKED PEAK: Climb the Mountains of Madness”.

Plot of the movie:

“  A flight to Antarctica turns into a frantic rescue mission after the plane mysteriously vanishes. Efforts to locate the missing passengers lead rescuers to discover the plane's course set for a never-before-seen mountain range - the largest on Earth.

Towering over 10,000 feet above sea level, the Everest-eclipsing eighth wonder of the world (officially nicknamed the “Mountains of Madness”) draws attention from the world's best climbers and thrill-seekers. Although they have conquered the tallest peaks in the past, Earth's new vertigo-inducing heights are surpassed only by the dreadful horrors awaiting at the top.”

Madaraushi launched a crowdfunding campaign in October 2021 to fund the pilot anime film, which was initially titled Kyōki Sanmyaku, and is the "first step" toward an anime film.

The campaign for the pilot anime film received the 2022 CAMPFIRE Crowdfunding Award in the "Animation and Manga" category for raising more than 1400% of its goal, netting more than US$1 million (119 million yen) from almost 12,000 backers. The full-length movie is now in production, and behind-the-scene footages will stream on Madaraushi's YouTube channel.

  The anime movie is inspired from H.P. Lovecraft's similarly-titled book “At the Mountains of Madness” (titled "Kyōki no Sanmyaku ni te" in Japanese), and is a focused scenario that has players exploring and climbing a mountain in a horror-themed story. The standalone RPG has no direct connection to the Call of Cthulhu tabletop RPG, or Rob Daviau and Miguel Coimbra's similarly titled Mountains of Madness board game.

My conclusion

It seems real Thrilling case,plus the main girl of the anime movie,Inori Asama, would catch the viwers expactations.but to something much more: That nearly 90 years after author Lovecraft ‘s passing his works give meaning,and inspiration to so many out there in the world.

*So it motivates me to try create something(either drawing either novel)to entertain many.

Nello scorso ANIME RECAP riflettevo su come volessi prendermela un po' più con calma, anche in vista delle "vacanze" natalizie, invece niente, è sempre peggio!

Fra l'altro, come vedete, nel mentre che combattevamo contro i maledetti bug di Tumblr (che migliora una cosa per romperne altre due, a quanto pare), Shelly si è pure evoluta! Così sono riuscito a portavi il DOPPIO delle news che raccolgo di solito in questi post. Non male, eh?

ANNUNCI

🔶🔸POKÉMON

Cominciamo dall'annuncio che non pensavo di leggere mai nella vita: dopo 25 anni di onorate avventure, Ash e Pikachu si godranno la loro meritata pensione! È stata infatti annunciata ufficialmente, per il 2023, una nuova serie di Pokémon, che avrà due protagonisti totalmente inediti!

Per festeggiare il passaggio di testimone, dopo la conclusione della serie Esplorazioni Pokémon Super, arriverà una speciale raccolta di episodi dedicati alle gesta dell'allenatore migliore del mondo.

🔶🔸ARKNIGHTS: PERISH IN FROST

L'8° e ultimo episodio di “ARKNIGHTS: PRELUDE TO DAWN”, si è concluso oggi con la conferma da parte di YOSTAR PICTURES (Azur Lane: Slow Ahead!, Sorairo Utility) della produzione di un'altra serie.

Non ci sono dettagli a riguardo, ma nel frattempo vi ricordo che potete recuperare la prima miniserie animata, ispirata al popolare videogioco mobile, direttamente in streaming su Crunchyroll.

Netflix è si è proprio tuffata a capofitto negli adattamenti live action. Ne ha quanti in cantiere, quasi una decina ormai? (Oltre ad Alice in Borderland, per la legge dai grandi numeri, ne beccherà almeno qualcun'altro fatto al verso, dai :v)

Questa volta si è accaparrato un nuovo film con protagonista il mitico detective rubacuori di Tsukasa Hojo, che sta venendo diretto da Yuichi Sato (Kasane, You, I Love).

🔶🔸MEGUMI NO DAIGO: KYUKOKU NO ORANGE

Nel corso del 2023 verrà trasmessa in Giappone una serie animata tratta dal manga di Masahito Soda e Kuro Tomiyama, rispettivamente l'autore di "Capeta" e il suo assistente.

La trasposizione televisiva sarà diretta da Masahiko Murata (Naruto Shippuden, To Your Eternity) presso lo studio BRAINS BASE (In/Spectre, To Your Eternity).

🔶🔸NAKED PEAK: CLIMB THE MOUNTAINS OF MADNESS

Per la serie progetti di nicchia e dove trovarli, Madaraushi, il creatore del gioco di ruolo cartaceo "Kyoki Sanmyaku: Jashin no Sanrei", ha annunciato ufficialmente l'uscita a febbraio 2023 di un corto pilota, che farà da apripista per un lungometraggio animato vero e proprio.

L'ambientazione del gdr mescola la mitologia di H.P. Lovecraft e l'alpinismo, facendo appunto riferimento al celebre racconto "Le Montagne della Follia". La trasposizione è stata finanziata con una campagna di crowdfunding di successo, che ha raccimolato una cifra ben più alta di quella fissata dallo staff.

Online un primo vero trailer per la commedia fantasy, tratta dal popolare manga firmato da Subaruichi, edito in Italia da J-POP Manga con il titolo “L'eroe è morto!”.

La serie animata diretta da Rion Kujo (Shin Ikkitousen, Aesthetica of a Rogue Hero) arriverà su Crunchyroll da aprile 2023 ed è in produzione presso LIDEN FILMS (Tokyo Revengers, Build Divide).

🔶🔸BLUE GIANT

Nuovo trailer per il film d’animazione tratto dal premiato manga a tutto jazz firmato Shinichi Ishizuka, disponibile qua in Italia grazie a J-POP Manga.

In uscita nelle sale giapponesi il 17 febbraio 2023, la pellicola è diretta da Yuzuru Tachikawa (Mob Psycho 100, Death Parade) e in lavorazione presso lo studio NUT (Deca-Dence, Saga of Tanya the Evil).

Svelato un primo teaser trailer per l'attesa serie animata basata sul popolare action manga di Naoya Matsumoto, edito in Italia da Star Comics.  

L'adattamento sarà targato PRODUCTION I.G (Ultraman, Ao Ashi), ma per l'occasione il design e gli artwork dei kaiju saranno a cura di STUDIO KHARA (Rebuild of Evangelion,The Dragon Dentist).

Avete nostalgia di "Bang Dream!" e non sapete cosa guardare? Niente paura, la seconda stagione di D4DJ è in arrivo giusto da gennaio 2023! Ecco il promo.

Stavolta la serie animata, ispirata al nuovo progetto crossmediale di Bushiroad a tema dj, porterà in tv tutti e sei i gruppi del franchise, comprese le Lyrical Lily.

La prima stagione, prodotta dallo studio SANZIGEN e diretta da Seiji Mizushima (Concrete Revolutio, Beatless), è già disponibile sottotitolata in italiano, in streaming su Crunchyroll.

Nuovo trailer per l'originale cappa e spada nato dalla collaborazione fra Nitroplus e Shochiku, che potremo seguire su Crunchyroll a partire dal 5 gennaio.

Ad affiancare Gen Urobuchi (Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Fate/Zero, Psycho-Pass) nella scrittura troviamo Renji Ooki (Bubble), mentre a dirigere il tutto presso AIJA-DO (Ascendance of a Bookworm, Kemono Jihen) c'è Masaya Fujimori (Kemono Jihen).

🔶🔸AIKATSU! MIRAI NO STARWAY

Il franchise a tema idol di Bandai Namco sta per festeggiare i sui 10 anni con un nuovo film, il 10° per l'appunto, che uscirà nei cinema giapponesi il 20 gennaio. Di seguito il trailer.

Per l'occasione è stato riunito lo staff della prima storica serie, andata in onda dal 2012 al 2016. La storia, infatti, vedrà tornare sul grande schermo Ichigo Hoshinomiya e le altre ragazze, protagoniste della serie capostipite.

Inizialmente atteso per l'estate scorsa, il prossimo film di STUDIO PONOC (Eroi Modesti, Mary e il Fiore della Strega) sbarcherà finalmente nelle sale giapponesi durante l'inverno 2023.

La pellicola diretta da Yoshiyuki Momose (Ni no Kuni, l'episodio Life Ain’t Gonna Lose di Eroi Modesti), si basa sul racconto “The Imaginary”, scritto da A.F. Harrold e illustrato da Emily Gravett, conosciuto in Italia come “Il Mio Amico Immaginario”, grazie a da Mondadori.

🔶🔸HOW DO YOU LIVE?

Un paio di anni fa Toshio Suzuki, cofondatore di STUDIO GHIBLI, aveva stimato circa 3 anni per il completamento dei lavori e, be', ci aveva visto giusto. L’atteso nuovo film d'animazione scritto e diretto da Hayao Miyazaki, uscirà infatti nei cinema giapponesi il 14 luglio 2023.

La pellicola si ispira al romanzo “E voi come vivrete?”, edito qua in Italia da Kappalab, pubblicato originariamente nel 1937 da Genzaburo Yoshino.

Dopo il silenzio radio seguito all'annuncio del 2019, arrivano finalmente le prime info sull'adattamento animato della visual novel otome di Idea Factory e Otomate. 

Il progetto si comporrà di un film diviso in due parti, in uscita nel corso dell'estate 2023 e attualmente in produzione presso STUDIO DEEN (Sasaki and Miyano, Hakuoki).
