Not only did this become an important activity for me to do but it became a way for me to mourn. It also became a sense of spiritual connection with myself and my photography, cause a lot of these funerals involve a lot of spiritual customs that I got to photograph, witness and be a part of. I think the most important thing though with this work is that I got to personally create a lasting memory of relatives that have passed on.
