okay so , i really suck at giving facts about myself and i tend to reuse facts like all the time. but, i’m going to try really hard not to do it this time, okay?! 

i’m dyslexic but, it’s definitely not as bad as it used to be. ( or at least that’s what i keep telling myself, lol )

i’m obsessed with wolves. and a couple of years ago for my birthday, my boyfriend took me to a wolf sanctuary where i was able to interact with three different packs. ( and i am actually saving up some money so sponsor one of the babies )

i went to a tvd con once, and met michael trevino, steven r mcqueen, and nate buzolic ( i met them right after the episodes where jeremy died and kol died, so i was emotional )

i did shakespearean theatre for four years, and was in a few plays. ( i had to quit because i moved from california to the midwest, and theatre isn’t really a big thing here )

i fucked up my knee when i was in high school and never got it properly fixed so now i have a hole ( about the size of a silver dollar ) in the middle of my kneecap.

BACKGROUND:

Sabrina Knight’s life had never been easy. But, then again, neither were most people’s in New Orleans. The Knights had never been wealthy, but they hadn’t been bad off either. At least before Katrina that is. When the hurricane hit, Sabrina was only eleven and it not only destroyed her home, but tore her family apart.

Her mom wanted to evacuate. Her father didn’t. So, the woman packed up the car and left, not just her dad, but Sabrina as well. Her dad kept on telling her that the storm wouldn’t be that bad. But, boy was he wrong. He was able to get himself and Sabrina to the Superdome, but after the storm, he was never the same again.

The already stubborn man became harsh and mean. They had no home and they didn’t get money back from the insurance company, so as the city began to rebuild itself, Sabrina and her dad took up residence in an RV. All of the money that they made went into their food and her dad’s new found drinking issues.

He’d come home later and later each night and, by the age of 14, almost every bar on Bourbon inevitably learned her name; the girl they’d have to call to come get her drunk father out of the streets.

Getting tired of sitting by the phone and waiting to go collect the man who would use his fists on her, Sabrina would go out of her way to stay out late. Partying wasn’t really much of her scene, but the ghost tours were something she could get behind. So, she found a free one and went on it every night for almost three weeks, until something different happened. 

On one of the tours, a row of candles along the graves were lit a flame. The tour group let out gasps assuming it to be the spirits around them. But, Sabrina had caught sight of what it really was. A boy in the back of the crowd had been muttering something in latin under his breath and when candles came a lit, he started to laugh. Only to stop when he noticed her watching him. 

As the tour continued on, Sabrina tried to push through towards the boy, but he ran off before she could reach him. She tried to forget about it, she tried to write it off as a hoax, but in the back of her mind, she knew better. He had done magic and she was going to learn to do it too.

You’re character would be that boy whom she witnessed doing magic all those years ago. She tracked him down and got him to let her join the Hedge Coven he was apart of. They probably had a fair bit of  banter or back and forth relationship until she eventually skipped town and headed off to Vancouver where the now Level 8 Hedge Witch created a Coven of her own. 

Your character would have been proof growing up that she wasn’t crazy for hearing spirits in her head all this time as a medium and would have helped teach her a lot of the magic she knows now.
