Hofstra Awarded NSF Grant to Strengthen NYS Computer Science Instruction
The National Science Foundation has awarded a $1.3 million four-year grant to the Hofstra Center for STEM Research, co-directed by Dr. M. David Burghardt and Dr. Michael Hacker, to expand and strengthen technology education and computer science instruction in school districts across New York state. Computer Science through Engineering Design in NY (CSED-NY) is the 18th large-scale project conducted by the Center for STEM Research since 1993, with grant monies now totaling more than $35.5 million.
