heya! I just signed up for the natsuyuu spring exchange, and I'm planning on posting my fic exchange on Ao3, but I realized I haven't put in my Ao3 handle in the submission form. Do I need to do another form with my Ao3 handle, or can I just immediately upload it on June?

Just please make sure to tag us on either Tumblr or Twitter when you do post it so we can make sure we've marked you down as having submitted your gift!

Do you think it would be okay to write a fic inspired by another fic for the exchange? Original work of course, just one headcanon in common that I think is worth crediting.

Hello! You may use another fic/original work as inspiration for your Natsuyuu Spring Exchange fic, but it must adhere to the following guidelines:

The work you are referencing must be your work. Please don't directly use another writer's work as inspiration.

The fic you write for this exchange must be able to stand on it's own. Your giftee should not have to read the inspiration to understand what you wrote for them.

The fic you write for this exchange still must follow your giftee's likes and dislikes preferences.

would you accept poetry for the exchange?

Hello! We will accept poetry for the exchange. The minimum for poetry is 15 lines, and must have a medium or larger word count (so please don't submit a 1-2 word-per-line poem or something of that nature).

Please keep in mind that our fic minimum is 500 words, so the poem should reflect that amount of "substance" as much as the medium allows. We understand that it's difficult to quantify poetry in the same way as prose, but we also want to make sure everyone receives a gift that they can enjoy fully. This info will be in our FAQ/Info Doc as well.

Is there a way to sign up as a pinch hitter without signing up for the full exchange? I won't have time until after the 18th, but after that I'll be free to create something if needed!
