I think if Nicholas hadn’t done what he’d done to Cain and Cain had just continued on his path of evil he would’ve been one of those people who eventually turns 31, but when people ask how old he’s turning on his birthday he’d keep telling them “30 <3” and he just does that for however long he can get away with
