On the 29th of March, seventeen years ago, Seungyeon, Nicole, Gyuri and Sunghee stepped on stage for the first time as KARA. It wouldn't be long until Hara and Jiyoung would join the group after Sunghee's departure, and Youngji would complete the group a few years later.

On the 6th of April, thirteen years ago, KARA released their third Japanese single, "Jet Coaster Love".

On the 21st of March, twelve years ago, KARA released their sixth Japanese single, "Speed Up / Girls Power".

On the 29th of November, a year ago, KARA released their 15th anniversary special mini album, MOVE AGAIN.
The EP marks their first release since their disbandment in 2016, their first to feature Nicole and Jiyoung since their departure in 2014, and their first to be released without Hara.
On the 17th of February, fourteen years ago, KARA released their third mini album, Lupin.
The title track was a hit. It's a catchy pop track characterized by its infectious melody and sleek choreography. The lyrics depict a confident and alluring persona, akin to the iconic character Lupin III, known for his charm and charisma. The song propelled KARA to greater fame, solidifying their status as one of K-pop's leading girl groups.
On the 31st of July, fifteen years ago, KARA released their first Mini-Album, KARA.
This was also the first album to feature Jiyoung and Hara, following the departure of Sunghee. The release also showed a big transition from the group's original "strong female" image to a "cute and natural" appeal, shifting from the R&B sound of their debut to bubblegum pop.
On the 31st of July, fourteen years ago, KARA released their second studio album, Revolution.
The album was the band's first regular release to be recorded under the second line-up, featuring Hara and Jiyoung, who replaced Sunghee after her withdrawal in 2008.
