Okay. Dune ballet. Someone make a Dune ballet.
The walk to avoid sandworms is a dance already. Characters are easily disguinished by costumes. Worm Dance. Please someone share my vision.

I am not including options for people who don't do puzzles, this has sparked a debate with a beloved friend of mine so we need clear binary (trinary?) answers FAST!

Commission for @brigamia of their Sunchaser dragon Anarion! I love painting glowing things so I appreciated the mana star in the design, and the character's sunset colours inspired me for the background.
My commissions are open at a flat rate of £20 for an artwork of a dragon - more info can be found here: https://ko-fi.com/northwyrm/commissions

Listen, I love Orikan the Diviner so much. I could write essays about him, I love this guy described as 'all things venomous', I love that he's a feral wizard who scuttles and hates, I love that he cheats and despises authority, I love so much about him.
BUT. I am thirsty for Trazyn the Kleptomaniac Hunchback. Got no character analysis for that one I just point at him and say "this man is funny and stupid".
And, in a way, I feel this captures the mood of the book - the story of Serenade, a planet that sings gently and whose song is found in the spirals of snail shells and the patterns of spider webs, and the story of greed, competitiveness, rivalry, the gift and curse of immortality, of complex emotions and themes throughout the text COULD be a source for so much discussion. BUT ALSO - hehe the old man skeleton robots are FIGHTING. They are SLAPPING. they are SMASHING POTTERY and CRYING ABOUT IT. Book that can be enjoyed in two ways with 0 contradiction. Peak wizard media.
(I mean in a way every piece of media can be enjoyed on a surface level vs deeper meaning but shhhh I am Thinking About This Book Tonight)

hi this is a vague question and i apologize but HELLO WHAT IS "what if we were traveling in the worm forest and there was only one flesh tent" I MUST KNOW
Oh!!! So this is my latest project of all my projects - so newborn that it is barely formed (whereas the other two projects in that poll already have art and writing and even dedicated blogs here and here).
The project is loosely called 'flesh castles' in my mind and it's a melting pot of my main interests: knights, forests, body horror and sessile marine life. I haven't posted about it online anywhere as I am still brainstorming it (also trying to come up with a blog name better than 'flesh castles' for a dedicated sideblog). I don't know if it will be an art project or a writing project - so far there is more art than writing.
In summary: there is a world covered in giant trees and deep, dark forests. Within these forests are castles made of flesh; castles which shelter and nurture the people within. They are ruled by fairy princesses and guarded by animals called 'knights' against dangerous wildlife such as unicorns. Word is recieved that a flesh castle out in the ice wastes is in trouble, so a scribe and a knightskin (human warrior wearing the skin/armour of a knight animal) travel together to find out more. They may also share a flesh tent and maybe even kiss.
The forests are made of tree-worm hybrids (symbiotic worms acting as a circulatory system to help pump fluids up the imossibly tall trees), worm-trees (based on sessile worms and corals), stinging trees (corals, anemones, polyp stages of jellyfish), fern worms (crinoids). The air sometimes becomes thick with aerial algae and plankton and is too wet to breathe without a protective mask, covering everything in a green slime as you walk through the algal fog.
Currently I'm tagging posts with the same vibes I want to cultivate in this story as '#vibe17' on my blog (my blog tagging system includes so many numbered vibe tags I'm sorry)
Here are some doodles:

It's the next morning and I am still weird about the fact that the skeleton robots from Warhammer 40k are not human sized and are in fact gigantic
Extremely tall

Does anyone know shops (UK based or deliver to the UK) that sell A3 or A2 sheets of patterned paper? I have just gone on a failed paper quest (checking the Works, WH Smiths, Waterstones, The Range and Hobbycraft) and found nothing.
Small independent artist sellers are good, or if you know something that's like Paperchase 2 the squeaquel that would be nice
I'm trying to make notebooks/sketchbooks for friends using my bookbinding skills, so I'm looking for 'nice patterns to go on notebooks', I have a range of friends so horse patterns, plant patterns, flower patterns, fish patterns, goth bone patterns, abstract patterns in nice colours etc. I just want some nice paper!!!!

Writing WIP Game
Go to your current work in progress and share the following:
The first line of the work.
The first line of your current chapter (or if it’s a one-shot, the first line of the tenth paragraph).
The last line you wrote.
A line for a chapter/part you haven’t written yet.
Tag at least 3 people whose work you wanna see, and if you make a separate post for it, please link back to this one.
I was tagged by the talented @ghostinthegallery who writes some VERY FUN necron stories :3
I will tag @raptorcivilization, @tigerdragon1001 and @dragonfelling.
As I've recently 'finished' Bloodmood (98k words... a full length novel...) and I am going back and editing it so much, it is very much my favourite WIP atm.
First Line of the Work:
About a week after Harriet quit her job, the agents arrived. She’d read about the shady men who worked for secret government agencies before she’d learnt how to apply to work there herself, and part of her hoped that the men in suits were part of the conspiracy theories rather than part of the conspiracy realities.
First Line of Your Current Chapter:
(difficult to work out which is the current one as I'm pinging about the doc a lot...)
Breaking free of the thrall curse had left many people dazed and confused. It took hours to find out how badly the Institute had been damaged by the vampires. The agents were the first to reorganise: communication was their forte and within the first hour they had worked out who was where and issued an order for everyone to regroup at the Institute.
Last Line you Wrote
She needed to scream and scream and scream to fill the silence, but she couldn’t hear a sound. When the darkness took her, she welcomed it.
A Line from a Chapter I Haven't Finished Yet
Trixie took some time to get blankets and clothes brought out to the werewolves, and called a taxi to take them to the fae street (presumably the taxi driver was one who knew how to find hidden roads).

Making my own post because there are like 4 of these memes going around saying "there should be 13 months in a year" and "why are months 30 days instead of 28?" like... Lunar calenders do exist? People do live my lunar calendars? Yeah western Gregorian calendars are becoming the mainstream but if you crave a lunar based calendar there are so many to choose from?
It's not a new idea, it's not "oh the solar system is broken, why do we live like this?" if the solar calendar bothers you literally look up any lunar calendar and use them instead of inventing your own
