~The 100 Master~
*Based off episode 3x05 of the 100, Hakeldama*
Pike lead his troops back in the front gate the next morning, the Chancellor title giving him an authority he desired as Bellamy followed along, murmurs sounding around the camp about the group. You rushed out of the building, looking around for the source of the commotion, but what you didn’t expect was to see Bellamy, Pike, Hannah and the others covered in blood.
You stood in shock, your eyes meeting Bellamy’s just moments before his sister ran up to him. “Are you okay?” She asked as Bellamy looked right past her, ignoring the worry in her voice.
“I’m fine.” You slowly made your way over, eyeing the bloodied people passing you by quickly.
“Bellamy, what happened out there?” Bellamy pushed past Octavia at her question, not answering her, but you weren’t going to let him go that easily.
“Hey!” You yelled and grabbed Bellamy’s arm, keeping him from walking away and then pulling him to look at you. “Talk to me.”
“Not right now Y/N.” He said, trying to get out of your grasp. You didn’t let him, moving to stand in front of him. Bellamy came to a stop, glaring down at you as you checked him for any injuries, only to come up clear.
“You’re not hurt. Blake, why the hell are you covered in blood but don’t have any injuries?” Bellamy pushed your hands off him, his face void of any emotion as his eyes bored into yours. The look in his eye made you understand quickly as you stepped back in shock. “You went too far.”
“We did what we had to.” He pushed past you much like he did to his sister and this time you didn’t stop him, your mouth dropping open. You turned to watch him leave, his shoulders tensing anytime someone got out of his way. Octavia came to your side, both of you staring out into the camp.
“Everything’s going to change, isn’t it?” She asked as you nodded as Pike gathered everyone’s attention to himself on top of platform.
“It already has.” You whispered to your best friend as Pike began his speech, introducing everyone to the way Arkadia was going to work now.
It was going to be hell.
Lexa and Clarke rode on the back of their horses across the countryside, Queen Nia’s recently deceased body in their tow as Clarke stared off, her lips pulled into a frown across her face.
“Thinking about home?” Lexa asked her, knocking her out of her thoughts. Clarke gave her a guilty smile as she played with the reigns on her horse, tugging them softly.
“Thinking about whether Arkadia is home or not. When Y/N and I left, it had a different name. We were different.” Thinking about you, Clarke became even more remorseful of your situation. “I shouldn’t have pushed her back there.” She mumbled under the sound of the horse clopping. Lexa discouraged Clarke’s attitude, telling her she’ll return a hero with the Ice Queen’s body and justice for her people.
“Heda!” A grounder yelled out to capture their commander’s attention. Lexa and Clarke turned forward, skipping to the front of the group only to see a slaughter. 300 bloodied bodies laying across the field in front of them from the peace-keeping force. They didn’t say anything, trying to process what happened as they made their way through the field.
Clarke swallowed thickly as she passed by them, looking at their wounds. “All bullet holes.” She told Lexa who just glared at her. She was called once again as Clarke and her went over, hurrying at the sight of Indra laying on the ground, covered in blood and shot but not dead.
“Indra!” Lexa yelled as Clarke demanded bandages, trying to help her as Indra pushed away her hands.
“Stop! You’re one of them!” Indra bellowed towards Clarke who just took a step back in fear, turning towards Lexa.
“Indra let her help you. What happened here?” Lexa asked as Indra reluctantly allowed Clarke to look at her injury.
“They attacked while we slept. We were watching for Azgeda, they took our archers out first. Our infantry couldn't get close. Then they executed the wounded.” Indra told them as Clarke stopped working, looking to Lexa with denial.
“How could Kane do this? The summit was two days ago.”
“Not Kane. Pike.” Indra told them, sneering at the mention of Pike. Clarke was slightly relieved to learn that Kane was innocent. Lexa kept questioning Indra, asking her how she was alive as Indra paused, her wound hurting as she looked around the massacre. “Bellamy.”
Clarke gasped at the knowledge her friend was a part of this. “Bellamy was with them?” She locked eyes with Lexa, knowing that if Bellamy was a part of it… “Was Y/N?”
Indra shook her head, reducing her worry a bit. “Bellamy wanted to spare the wounded. When Pike rejected him, he convinced them to let me live to deliver a message.”
“What message?”
“Skaikru rejects the coalition. We can leave their land now or die.”
Lexa took a minute to come to her decision. “Send riders. I call upon the armies of the 12 clans. In a day's time, we lay waste to Arkadia and everyone within its walls.” Her guards nodded, a few of him heading off to follow her demands.
“I can fix this.” Clarke assured her before heading towards Arkadia, barely getting 5 feet before Lexa ordered for them to stop her. Clarke turned around abruptly, glaring at Lexa for an answer. “What are you doing?”
“I can’t let you leave Clarke.”
“So, I’m a prisoner now?” She asked and much to her displeasure Lexa said confirmed it. “Lexa let me go to Arkadia. Let me talk to Kane. Or Y/N! I can bring one of them here!” she begged but Lexa didn’t listen, motioning for her people to detain Clarke once again. “Wait! Indra, Kane gave you a radio. Use it, radio him and we’ll figure this out.” Indra looked towards her younger leader who just nodded, allowing the call to be made.
Everything was tense in Arkadia after Bellamy and Pike got back, Bellamy had been avoiding you and followed Pike around wherever he went. You knew that wasn’t him, since Gina died Bellamy hadn’t been the same person. As for Bellamy, you were just a reminder. The only reason you were here was because he was dumb enough to trust a grounder. After months of wishing you were here, he hated the fact that he’d wish you’d leave him alone right now.
Octavia stayed by your side, both you are feeling like outcasts amongst Arkadia. The people were resenting your presence every second as Pike preached death upon the grounders. You both were currently sitting in the mess hall, ignoring the hateful gaze of the men to your left before Kane up to both.
Glared at the men who just scoffed but decided not to challenge him before turning to you and O. “Go for a walk?” You and Octavia shared a look around the room before getting up, letting a woman clean your area.
You were walking through the halls with Kane and Octavia for quite a while before Kane spoke to Octavia. “Is it true you tried to leave camp yesterday to visit Indra?” He asked as Octavia rolled her eyes, looking to you for advice but you just shrugged, having no idea she tried to leave.
“Don’t you have anything better to do than to worry about me sneaking out?” Kane nodded his head, pushing aside the red stripped door for you and Octavia to enter another room. You followed Octavia’s lead, coming into the vacant corridor before turning to Kane confused.
“That’s why you’re here. Indra radioed telling me she wants to meet. I’d go but-“
“but Pike’s watching you like a hawk.” You finished for him, thinking back on how many people were watching you today. Kane quirked a brow at you but nodded. He pulled out Octavia’s sword handing it to her as she took it eagerly.
“I’m in.” she agreed before furrowing her brow. “How do I get out of here? Pike’s armed the gate with-“ Her swords were cut off as Kane pushed aside a panel showing you both a secret pathway out of the ark. You smiled to Octavia who grinned wildly before stepping into the crawlspace. “I was born for this.”
You watched her crawl away, helping Kane close the crawlspace before the P.A. spoke. “Marcus Kane report to the chancellor’s office. Marcus Kane.” It said as Kane sighed deeply.
You put your hand on his arm, making him look back at you. “Do you want me to come?” you offered but Kane just shook his head, telling you not to worry. You didn’t want too but you agreed, following Kane out of the crawlspace area without anyone catching you.
“Can we finally talk?” He asked as you began to walk him to the Chancellor’s. You took a deep breath, holding it as you nodded. “How long are you staying for?” He asked immediately, catching you quite off guard.
You cleared your throat, not bringing yourself to look in his eyes. “I uhh, I don’t know. I’m not sure why I came back honestly.” He nodded, not saying anything as an uncomfortable silence fell between you both and you smiled to yourself. The silence was something Kane would do when you were younger and in trouble, trying to get you to say more than you wanted. But now you were older and knew his tricks, enjoying the silence for knowing Kane had to skip his questions.
Kane looked at you in the corner of his eye, seeing that smirk you wore when you thought you were one up-ing someone. “You’re too stubborn for your own good.” He chuckled as he turned the corner, seeing a man glare at you when you passed by, completely unaware of his gaze. His laughs died down as he carried on. “What were you doing in Polis?”
Again, you hesitated to answer but ultimately gave in. “Lexa was training me to fight.” The chancellor’s office was at the end of the hallway as you saw Lincoln pacing in front, locking eyes with you down the hall. “I’ve come a long way from the girl you trained when she was young.” You shrugged.
Kane felt his heart physically clench as he heard the defeat in your words, knowing you were trying to lighten the mood but failing. You caught up to Lincoln, all of you staying outside the office before you turned to Kane. “What Pike’s doing is wrong. Don’t let him get away with this.”
Kane nodded just seconds before the door swung open, Bellamy coming out as Kane and Lincoln try to enter, stopping the boy in his tracks. “He’s waiting for you.” Bellamy says, trying to get past them but at seeing you there he stops.
“What the hell happened out there?” Kane growled as Bellamy squared up against him.
“We did what he had to do.” He said, repeating his words from earlier as you found yourself scoffing, receiving a look from Bellamy as you stepped up.
“Wake up Bell. You attacked an army sent to help us. You murdered innocent people. Is that who you are now?” He was almost taken back at your words, not sure how to reply before Kane spoke.
“You blamed yourself for Mount Weather. But now you just started a war that will kill us all.”
Bellamy just glared at him, pointing a finger at Kane. “You need to wake up. There’s no difference between Trikru and Azgeda.” He tried convincing Kane. “Trikru killed 37 of our friends before you even hit the ground.” He motioned between you and him, a lump in your throat forming as he caught your eye. “They tortured you Y/N!” he yelled out, making your breathing hitch. They way he said it was like he expected you not to remember it, but you did. It was the second worst form of torture you’ve ever received. “We didn’t start anything. They did.”
Lincoln jumped forward at Bellamy’s words, pushing you behind him in is rage. “They?!” he repeated into Bellamy’s face. You put your hand on his arm, ready to pull him back in case something happened.
“You know what I meant.” Bellamy spoke much softer now, seeing your hands gripping onto Lincoln tightly. Lincoln just shook his head, looking Bellamy dead in the eyes.
“I used to.” He muttered before pushing past Bellamy and followed Kane into the office, letting Bellamy leave. As soon as the door closed, Bellamy looked at you, seeing you walk away as he tried to follow.
“Y/N!” he shouted, jogging to catch up.
You just groaned, walking faster. “I don’t want to hear it Bellamy. Anything you want to tell me you can say when you drop this act.” He finally got a hold of your shoulder, pulling you into a room to your right as you pushed him off. “Get off me!” you yelled before Bellamy put his hands up in surrender. He stepped away from you, blocking your exit as you tried to get him to move.
“Just listen to me.” He begged as you shook your head.
“Why?” you asked. “You didn’t want to talk earlier. Why is now so different?” He knew you were right, but he needed to speak to you.
“Y/N, you have to know that Trikru is going to betray us. You have to know-“
“Betray us? Blake, I lived with them for 3 months, the only betraying being done is by that idiot you voted chancellor.” Bellamy grabbed your hands, trying to keep you from moving away. You froze at the feeling of his hands in yours, his callused fingertips brushing over your wrist and for a second you forgot all of your arguments.
“Y/N, I need you to trust me.” He whispered as you gazed into his deep eyes. “I need you to show the others the truth of Trikru.” Your mouth dropped and within seconds you ripped your hands from his.
“Others?” you asked bitterly before you realized his intentions. “Did Pike put you up to this?” Bellamy’s hands fell to his side as your eyes went wide.
He was trying to use you.
You pushed past him, Bellamy not even bothering to stop you as he watched you run away. He knew he messed up. The moment Pike brought up the idea of trying to get you on his side, before you all had shown up at the office, he should’ve said no. He knew no matter what he shouldn’t have brought you into this and he definitely shouldn’t have used both of your feelings like that.
After you left Bellamy you didn’t know where you were headed, just needing to get out of your head. You passed by medical, not paying attention as Raven stormed out, fresh out of an argument with Abby. She wasn’t looking either as she ran into you, hitting your shoulder with hers.
“Sorry.” She mumbled as she started to limp away.
“It’s fine.” You told her, pausing a few seconds before looking back at her about to turn the corner. “Hey Raven!” you shouted, getting her to look over her shoulder. “You want a drink?”
Raven and you sat in the mess hall for the next few hours, nursing a few drinks throughout the day, before you finally spoke to her. “I’m sorry about your leg.” You said, motioning down to the cast Abby has her wear.
She just hummed, throwing back another drink. “Oh this? Not even the worse part.” You didn’t know how anything else Raven is going through could’ve been worse than this. “Doc’s taking me off work.”
“Oh. Damn, that does suck.” You told her as she nodded, running her finger over the rim of her shot glass. You and Raven never really had the chance to become friends, you were banished before you could really get to know her.
“You ever miss space?” she asked you way out of left field as you choked on your drink, spilling a little on your shirt. You jumped up at the feeling of the cold liquid, Raven’s eyes going wide as she tried to help you clean up. “Sorry, I shouldn’t have asked that.” She cursed herself, forgetting that your time in ark consisted of being in lock up.
“No, its okay. I guess I can’t say that I do.” She nodded her head ready to drop the conversation. Blame it on the subtle alcohol making its way through your system or the stares of the Arkers around you, but you found yourself not dropping the conversation. “There was nothing for me back in Space.”
“No family?” She asked, hoping not to ask something off limits but by the way your breathing quickened she wasn’t sure if you were going to answer. If you were in your right mind you would’ve walked away but instead you just shook your head for your answer. “Same with me. I had a mom, but Finn was my family.”
“Yeah, I guess I had a family but they uh… passed… when I was 8. Then I got myself locked up 2 years later.” Raven gave you that look, the one every gives out of pity and you knew you shared too much. “Oh god, how did this get depressing so fast?” you joked making Raven and you laugh before taking another sip. “I wanted a distraction.”
Raven’s eyes went to the entrance of the mess hall, furrowing her brows together. “Well, here’s a distraction for you. Jaha’s back.” You followed her gaze, seeing Thelonious Jaha walking past the mess hall rather calm. Raven and you wasted no time in following him outside to where he stood atop a platform.
“How long has he been gone for?” you asked her watching Jaha began to gather the attention of the people.
“Left people Mount Weather fell. Took some people with him, our favorite cockroach being one of them.” She told you.
“Murphy?” You were surprised. You had wondered where he was, thinking he just left for a little while, but you didn’t think he’d be gone. She nodded her head, as you make your way over just to catch the last bit of his speech.
“We all have pain. Some of it is physical from injuries or age. Some is mental from living with the loss of our loved ones. If you think about it, whether we fight that pain or succumb to it the result is the same. It diminishes our lives, robs us of our passions and past times and damages relationships between friends and lovers. What if I told you there's a simple way to eliminate it?”
You crossed your arms in front of your chest. Eliminate the pain?
“I’d say you’re full of crap. You can’t eliminate pain.” Raven spoke up for the both of you, despite Jaha’s weird attitude. She took a few steps forward as Jaha looked her up and down before pulling something out of his pocket.
“This will make it all go away.” He told her. “Take this, the key to the city of light. To salvation and relief.” You grabbed the chip out his hand, taking a better look at it.
“That’s what you’re telling people? Take this and their suffering’s gone? People really believe that shit?” Jaha looked to you as if he finally realized you were there. But what creeped you out was how he looked directly over your shoulder, slightly nodding his head. You found yourself trying to follow his gaze, only to come up empty when he focused on you again.
“So People swallow that and they’ll be living in Happy Town the rest of their lives?” Raven spat out. “You should be ashamed of yourself.” She began to walk away and you followed her after taking a glance over your shoulder.
Jaha watched you and Raven walk away as a woman in bright red dress, A.L.I.E., watched you as well, unknown to you and Raven. “We need them.” She told Jaha who just nodded.
“They’re not ready.” He said making you and Raven confused as you turned around to see who he’s looking at, only to see him standing alone. “I’ll be here when you are.” He waved at you both as you walked away, trying to figure out what happened.
You barely got anywhere before Octavia came out of nowhere, grabbing onto you. “You’re back?” you whispered to her as she nodded, looking at Raven out of the corner of her eye.
“We need to talk.” You furrow your brows but allow Octavia to lead you away from prying eyes, right into a room were a certain blonde was waiting.
“Clarke?”
“Catch her up on everything. I’m gonna get my brother.” Octavia said before leaving, closing the door behind her. Clarke took a second before pulling you in for a hug.
“What are you doing here? I thought you were in Polis.” Clarke just sighed, falling back in her seat as you joined.
“It was a massacre Y/N. What Pike did, what Bellamy did? We lost the commanders support, I’m here to convince Bellamy he’s wrong.” She told you as you laughed out of spite, pulling your lip through your teeth.
“I tried. Bellamy’s too deep in this. Pike’s got his hands around his neck.” Clarke knew that this was killing you, seeing the struggle behind your eyes knowing you hate not being able to help. You took a deep breath, hoping to change the conversation. “How was Polis? Any news?”
Clarke nodded. “The Ice Nation Queen is dead. Lexa killed her yesterday.” Your eyes rose in surprise, quirking your head.
“Guess that makes Roan king, huh? Does this mean Ice Nation could be an ally?” The door to the room swung open, making you jump up before Octavia walked in Bellamy coming into view behind her. His eyes locked with yours briefly before looking at Clarke, stunned to see her here.
“Now we’re done.” Octavia said before nodding at you, telling you to let Clarke and Bellamy talk.
“Go easy on Octavia. I had to beg her to let me into camp.” Clarke told him as Bellamy watched her carefully.
“And Y/N?” Clarke shook her head, telling him you had nothing to do with it as Bellamy nodded. “What are you doing here, Clarke?”
Clarke told him they needed to talk as Bellamy threw his hands to his hip, licking his lip before rubbing a hand across his face. “And you get to decide that? The great Wanheda. You chose the grounders over your own people then turned your back on those who came to rescue you.”
Clarke tried to defend herself, telling him Ice Nation paid their price and justice was served but Bellamy yelled at her again. “The Ice Queen is dead and then you let Pike ruin everything. Arkadia needs to make things right or Lexa and the 12 clans will wipe us out. Let’s not go to war Bellamy.”
He just scoffed, looking at Clarke like she was crazy. “We’re already at war, Clarke. We’ve at war since we landed. Pike understands that.”
“Can’t you see Pike is the problem? This isn’t who you are.”
Bellamy just stared at her, his jaw locking. “You're wrong. This is who I've always been. And I let you and Y/N, Octavia and Kane convince me that we could trust these people when they have shown over and over who they are, and I won't let anyone else die for that mistake. You left us Clarke. You and Y/N left us.” Clarke tried to speak but Bellamy cut her off. “Enough, Clarke! You are not in charge here and that's a good thing because people die when you're in charge. You were willing to let a bomb drop on my sister. You were willing to let a bomb drop on Y/N. You were going to let them die. Then you made a deal with Lexa who left us in Mt. Weather to die and forced us to kill everyone who helped us. People who trusted me.” Clarke deflated, falling to the seat and apologizing for leaving, telling him it was okay to leave because they had Bellamy.
She kept apologizing, apologizing for everything before Bellamy got down to his knees. “I’m sorry too.” Clarke smiled at him just seconds before Bellamy handcuffed her to the table.
“Bellamy wait! Don’t do this, Please!” She called out to him as he left the room before dropping her head in defeat.
Octavia and you waited with Kane and Abby for the result of Bellamy and Clarke’s talk. Your leg bounced on the ground as your elbows rested on your knees, your fist pressed against your lips, moving with every bounce. “They’re taking too long.” You told them as Octavia nodded, peaking through the hallway before seeing Bellamy marching down the halls, protests from Clarke making you jump up and look at Kane.
“They arrested her?!” Octavia yelled as she closed the door. You ran a hand through your hair, trying to come up with a way to get her back before your eyes landed on Kane’s now empty baton holder.
“I think I have an idea, but Octavia I’m gonna need your help.” You told them your plan before you set off, beating Bellamy and Clarke down the hallway.
“Believe it or not Clarke, I’m doing this for your own good.” He said as he tried to get her to move.
“And believe it or not,” Octavia said as she jumped out from around the corner, “I’m doing this for yours.” She kicked the guard, Gilmer, in the knees before kneeing him in the face, sending him to the ground out cold.
“You can’t just hit a guard.” Bellamy said, motioning to the knocked-out Gilmer.
Octavia just shrugged. “I just did. Let her go.”
Bellamy pulled Clarke behind him, putting himself between the girls. “I can’t do that.”
You came up behind him, grabbing the electric baton from Gilmer before quickly locking eyes with Bellamy. “I’m sorry about this.” You said before striking him in the gut, sending him to the floor. You couldn’t look away from him as Clarke grabbed the keys to free herself. The two girls took off down the hallway, Octavia stopping only momentarily when she realized you weren’t following.
“Come on Y/N, your plan worked so far. Let’s go!” She yelled as she ran away. You looked between the two siblings before taking off after Octavia to where Kane and Abby awaited by the crawlspace.
The four of them were talking about Pike when you got there, Octavia having removed the panel to the crawlspace. “Security Breach. Lock down all exits.” The P.A. said as you pushed Clarke towards the exit.
“You two need to go. Now!” you reminded them.
Clarke just shook her head, grabbing your hand. “What about you.” You met Octavia’s eyes, being reminded of Bellamy passed out on the ground.
“I have to stay for him. I’m not letting Bellamy throw away everything good about him. I’m not letting Pike win this war.” Kane handed Octavia a radio, telling her it only works when she’s close before she exited through the crawlspace.
Clarke looked around the room at you three before letting go of your hand. “May we meet again.” She said as you smiled at her.
“We will.” You promised her before she ducked away. Kane and you rushed to put the panel back in place, hiding all evidence you were there as footsteps passed by the doorway. You stayed quiet until they passed, the footsteps dying out before you turned to the adults. “Now, let’s go prevent a war.”
