whats up with TC!

TC isn't super developed yet, so there isn't much to say, but he's someone i've been exploring more lately!

TC's from a colder climate on the arena planet but now lives in a warmer one with the rest of the gang. He's shy, speak very little and very softly, always ending what he says with a 'yeah'. TC's a DJ and like.. supply area effects 4 his team thru his music. It;s not magic but like the planet being alive means that like it has a special physics system it made which enables interesting things to happen, so like in example of this, Sotto doesn't adhere to our understanding of things like momentum and gravity either... So TC gets essentially bard powers i guess they would be.

He has a ram motif which im having fun playing with and have been trying to think of more ways to incorporate into his character. He fights using a buckler and ice harvester pick, the buckler harks to his turn table in shape and a ram in function.

There's another character in the story named Jibble Jump [name is stupid 4 story reasons] who TC really looks up to and has a bull motif. JJ is a very strong fighter and takes down the rest of the posse single handedly despite his age, and TC is the one to defeat them. JJ ends up kinda being his mentor or father figure later on, but are also somewhat distant, neither of them being conversationalists.

TC ends up falling in love with an avian volcalist [aliens are present in this story] who reciprocates it because of like TC being so quiet compared to her fans and also just like appreciating her and her band's music and showing them different ways to do thingz. type interaction.

I've been thinking about if TC is human or ethereal [recycled spirit] because his eyes have a glow sometimes but a constant shadow over them too, but doing that would hugely change the story. it depends on where i want to take it in the end.

also part of their ear is gone because an industrial got snagged lol

that said, stories are made up, so let's workshop some more about him right now!

TC's one of the least sociable people of the posse and probably the hardest to interact with. It's not that he's particularly shy, but he finds it hard to speak his mind and relies a lot on parroting others. This plays into his music sets relying a lot on sampling and his tendency of using music to convey mood, whether its his own or otherwise.

Emcee, Sotto and Pith are some of the few people that TC feels most easy to talk to. KillJoy isn't rude or curt with TC, but he finds it a little harder to talk to them since KillJoy seems to be busy a lot of the time. While TC is spending time thinking of what to say, 3 more people might be wanting KJ. That's for them to figure out between each other tho.

TC's continental plate was sunk after a falling in battle, which is why he's become a gladiator. One of his goals is to prolong arena battles so that either side can further prepare to evacuate to the winning side.

He's probably closest to Sotto out of everyone. Emcee is usually off with KJ which leaves him with Sotto and Pith. Pith's like got ZERO charcater dev rn but as for Sotto, they both enjoy each other in silence and in music. TC might write down lyrics or dreams he's had and show them to Sotto to sing or play with. Sotto's obsession with time tends to show TC new ways to mess with time signatures and what have you.

KillJoy and Sotto might help TC get sets at bars and other events if he shows interest in it.

after JJ's continent is sunk, TC feels especially terrible about it, given that he's the one to have trumped him in battle. He becomes especially closed off after that, but after JJ becomes aware and talks it out, TC slowly comes more out of his shell. Still not talking much, but it would probably serve to help him become more intrepid.
