Backstory: Toxic was born and raised in New Atlantis, one of the wealthiest cities in the Settled Systems. However, she lived in The Well--New Atlantis' hidden underbelly. Her parents were average citizens for The Well, poor but could afford basic necessities. Despite years of trying to claw their way out of the area, they were unable to do so. Her Dad disappeared shortly after she turned 18, and her mom passed away in a work accident when Toxic was in her late 20s. She has no siblings.

After a run in with UC Security in The Well, Toxic was sent to the UC Vigilance to go undercover and infiltrate the Crimson Fleet to "pay" for her crime of trying to protect a fellow citizen from a corrupt cop. With little choice, she did as she was told, but unbeknownst to UC Sysdef, her loyalty lies with the Fleet.

Personality

High-strung under pressure, but fiercely loyal to those she loves and the causes she believes in. Her anger at the double-standards of the settled system's so-called political justice system comes to a head when she is dragged aboard the Vigilance, solidifying her belief that the Crimson Fleet, although dangerous criminals, are at least the most honest about who they are.
