Outfit Trials and Travel Plans

Today, I’m trying on different outfits for my upcoming adventure, but Rufus isn’t being much help. Sylvanus didn’t mention if I need to bring any specific outfits for the photoshoot, so I’m just experimenting for now.

By the way, I’m excited to reveal that the destination is a remote island! In two days, I’ll be embarking on this journey, and get this—the trip will start with a hot air balloon taxi sent by Silvanus to pick me up. How thrilling is that? I've never flown in a hot air balloon before and I can’t wait!

I really want Rufus to come along, but he has a fear of heights. Convincing him will be quite the task, and he doesn’t even know about it yet!

Getting ready for our lifestyle change and big adventure in house sitting was an ordeal, to say the least!

I’m not a froo-froo girly girl.  Really I’m not.  But there are some things a girl just can’t do without…like a good pair of scissors…and a widescreen monitor to plug into a laptop.

Thus, choosing a "proper" piece of luggage to complete our luggage collection was a lot like casting for a multi-million dollar Hollywood blockbuster movie, and I just knew I had found an Oscar winner in Pinkie! Unfortunately, I was wrong, wrong, WRONG!

Getting my gear together and training

It’s 3 weeks today before I set off on my trip. I decided to set myself this challenge nearly 2 years ago and the time has gone by very quickly .

In order to get myself ready for this I've been getting fit and raised over £5000 for  women's cancer charities. I've been going to circuit training, spin classes, 10k runs (Wolf Run and Dirt Run) and lots of cycling. Its been a ball !... fun, muddy, sweaty, painful but best of all I've met some lovely people who have helped me get to this point .

Big thanks must go to Pershore Leisure Centre for their support and sponsorship helping me with my training regime and other gym members for their encouragement.

So here we go ..... you will have to bear with me and some of the photos I pop on here as I'm new to some of the tech I'm taking and this is my first attempt at trying to write a blog and upload photos.....cycling seems easy compared to this.

So we head off on Monday 6th February 2017 to Heathrow.. excited and nervous  .....and arrive next day at Ho Chi Minh Vietnam (via  Singapore)  .... to be continued .
