Our selection of dishes from UMA Pan Pacific Perth’s “Journey” menu, where all dishes except for the passionfruit sorbet (on the last pic) are shared in groups of four people at aud68 per person. Menu on @perthfoodmenu The standouts were the chicken with aji mirasol jus, steak and coffee salt baked potatoes. Service was excellent (however, food took quite a while to arrive as we were a big group of 18) and complimentary valet parking was included with the reservation. As I don’t eat the two raw fish ceviche dishes, mine was substituted with a vegetable ceviche dish (didn’t like this at all - weird mix of seaweed, cucumber, honeydew and some cheesy sauce concoction). Desserts - found the passionfruit sorbet too sweet. The Pisco caramel pudding with drunken currants and lemon rinds was interesting though in a weird way - pudding was very dense and thick. The texture’s almost like a bread pudding. Haven’t had Peruvian food before so no point of reference.
