After donut was shot by Washington he started playing the song bulletproof by La Roux as a way to cope. He even started singing it to annoy the others. Grif and Caboose both thought it was fucking hilarious (grif had to explain the joke to caboose)

Donut has ptsd from when he almost died in episode 11 after Tex tried to kill him with the bomb and almost his entire right side is scarred.

Caboose once said to donut that he looks like zuko from atla bc of the scar (donut liked that)

Donut is deaf from the explosion (only in his right ear) and is partially blind in his right eye

Caboose is REALLY FUCKING TALL like I’m talkin 6’7 and built like Chris Evans in captain America the first avenger

Caboose is neurodivergent (most likely somewhere on the autism spectrum) and his stims include the leg bounce™️, humming, playing with his hair, etc

Donut is a barb

Donut is a closeted ✨homosexual✨

Caboose is panromantic because he doesnt seem to really care about gender

Donut used to have an irrational fear of any kind of explosive for a while after he almost died that one time but now he uses explosives all the time like it’s nothing

Doc is sorta like the 3rd wheel and he just tags along with the 2 just because they’re fun to hang around with

Donut is really self conscious about his scar so for a long time he kept it covered up even after it healed (caboose kept telling him that it makes him look cool so he eventually stopped covering it)

Caboose has a big bin (the big plastic industrial storage bin you know the ones) of silly bands and literally no one knows where or how he got them

Donut wears eyeliner and will sometimes let caboose use it (donut has to do it for him tho)

Doc knows some really concerning information like how to hide a body or how to stab someone in the most effective way when being attacked

Caboose is really good at art

Donut gets EXTREMELY defensive with caboose and will do anything he can to make sure he doesn’t get hurt

Caboose is pretty clumsy and gets a hurt easily (doc was the one who has to listen to him explain how the fuck he dislocated his arm after tripping)

Doc is the local stoner and sometimes hooks donut up with brownies every once in a while (doc is also really good at cooking)

Caboose and donut sneak out at night and meet up on top of the cliffs surrounding blood gulch

Tex caught them sneaking one time and all she said was “poggers” when they ran into each other and she never said anything to the teams about it

The teams don’t actually know ab donut and cabooses relationship (minus Tex and Doc) all the teams know is that the 2 get along well and talk every now and then.

Caboose has a high pain tolerance

Donut does not

Caboose will sometimes just pick up donut and carry him around because he can (donut absolutely loves when he does this)

Caboose and donut both have nightmares a lot from the shit they’ve been through and go to each other for comfort

I built you a fort

Caboose carefully kept his hands over Donut’s eyes. “Just a moment more, Captain Poptart!” he says with enthusaism. He leads him through the halls carefully.

“Careful, ‘Boose!” Donut stumbles a few times as Caboose clumsily leads him forward. He didn’t mind being lead around as such. It was the insistance that confused him though. But he figured it must be a surprise of sorts given Caboose’s excitment.

Caboose lifts his hands and runs out in front of a makeshift shed. “I had been very very busy and I did not let any one help me!”

Donut tilts his head and looks over it. He notices its splashed with lightesh red and blue at each corner. “Is it a fort?”

“Yes! I know you wanted to pull up rank on Red side but I thought it would be easier if we had our own team! A secret team!”

Donut smiles brightly. “Oh, Caboose. That’s the sweetest thing anyone’s done for me.”

he never wanted to be the director of anything. he and his family tried their best to stay out of the war, didnt want any part of it. it was going fine until, suddenly, his husband, franklin, was drafted.

caboose panicked and decided to tape him just to be sure he would remember him while he was gone because sometimes his memory can be faulty.

lets talk about the contents of that tape.

“Michael? Really? You’re taping this? Come on, sweetie, it’s not like I’m on the front lines or whatever.”

“You’re so dramatic! So I got drafted. Could have happened to anyone.”

“Heh, you know me. Pretty flimsy. Bet they’ll send me back in like a week.”

“It’s gonna be fine. I promise.”

“Hey, does this camouflage clash with my hair dye? Oh god, they’re gonna make me cut my hair, aren’t they? Years of styling perfection down the drain!”

“Michael. You’re shaking.”

“I know. I know this is hard. But please stop worrying, okay? I’ll be back before you know it.”

“Okay! Love you!”

caboose kept shaking every moment donut was gone. and how he couldnt handle things when donut didnt come back.

before everything, caboose liked to tamper with machines peacefully and privately. but, after losing donut, he knew that the longer the war lasted, the more people would go through what he did. so he threw himself into making machines that could come up with strategies and help it to just end.

lets talk about director caboose and filss. how he would always state his commands to her as questions, even say 'please.' and even if these extra variables make things more difficult for her to parse, she likes it in a strange way.
