After Thanos had been defeated, there in the ashes, Tony had been near death. Thor had lifted off the gauntlet and it was clear their friend had only a few seconds left. In that moment, both Aether’s whispered in her thoughts. Dr. Strange would have thrown her out of the monastery for even considering what they suggested, but she had the influence of not one, but two Infinity Stones in her mind and the whispers won out. In the blink of an eye, the world turned a deep crimson for a millisecond before returning to normal. No one noticed, but Tony drew in a longer, stronger breath. He was rushed to medical care, his friends around him, but Dany had hung back. After a soft word with Steve, she had opened the dimensional portal and was gone.

She had never intended upon returning. Tony had the Avengers and his friends. He’d live. She knew that. Her own world had their own problems and for many months, Dany had simply worked to set things right again, keeping busy to occupy her thoughts, but again and again, in the late hours, she found sleep elusive. Ironically, it was her world’s Tony Stark that pulled her aside, shrewdly breaking through Dany’s blithe responses to encourage a ‘visit’. It was as easy as thinking of him and the portal opened to his workshop. She stepped through and heard him, turning to see him standing there, a greasy cloth in one hand and a gear of something in the other. “I suppose it has been too long,” she acknowledged with a sad smile. “You’re…  looking good. All recovered, I see.” Dany took a step closer, her heart beat thundering in her chest. “I’m sorry I didn’t say goodbye, Tony.”

The time is 2:17 am; this marks twelve hours since Tony Stark was last seen outside of his workshop. Most would have given up hope of ever seeing the man again -- but Steve Rogers is not most. It’s time to storm the castle.

“You’re literally running on the scent of coffee grounds now, Tony. C’mon, it’s time to get some rest.” Is it considered rude to toss another man over one’s shoulder like a sack of potatoes? Yes. Does Steve care about correctness? Not in the slightest.

         The mission always was a pain in the ass. For starters, those were missions and fighting never suited him to begin with. But then when he tried to be useful he always got yelled at by one or all people in the team. About how he can’t be reckless and stuff. As if you could do their job the safe way.

Still, they were right about one thing - he could be a bit more careful with his arm. It was quite broken, but obviously, with his luck, everything was fried except touch sensors. The one that also signaled the pain. And well, with the fact that no one except Shuri knew how much he can actually feel with the arm, he doesn’t really blame Steve for giving him lecture, while his arm felt literally ripped to pieces. 

The elevator opened up and he stepped inside of what had to be Tony’s workshop. “Hey Stark, Steve sent me here t-” James froze in the place, as he blinked and looked around the place before he breathed out softly. “Holy cow.” 

As if the future wasn’t cool enough already. He did certainly see Shuri’s lab, but... somehow Tony’s was different. Especially with those... Are those robots?

She’s rather unsure how to approach him - with the events of New York in the past, there’s an uncertainty as to his behavior towards her. Were it hatred, she wouldn’t quite blame him, in considering quite a bit of delivered trauma must be from her actions.

character in general: Tony Stark is an okay character. He has his great moments and not so great moments. He’s human and one of the few that doesn’t have special powers besides his mind and I think that’s interesting. Not a lot of super heroes are like this.how they play them: Great! Awesome! Wonderful! I really love this Tony a bunch!the mun: Haven’t spoken that much. Let’s change that. My IMs are always open if you want to talk.
