Jess: Going on with the perspectives once more... Paolo can only view this situation in black and white, so his panels only have such.

Something I've always liked is that I combined both Pekka's and Paolo's panel styles in the center there. They're both on the same page, so we can see from both sides.

Peculiar Circumstances Hydra, or Pekka for short, is one of the many Hydra siblings.

Growing up in such a large family, Pekka was lost in his identity for most of his life. His efforts to stand out didn't do him favors, giving him a less than stellar reputation.

Pippin was the best thing to happen to him.

He's got a good night planned.

Kendra: Back about ten years or so, Pippin and Pekka found this old shipping container left in a vacant lot. They soon took it over and brought in various amenities and kitted it out. Pip semi-secretly bought the lot and container so it wouldn’t be messed with. Pippin hasn’t been here as much lately, but Pekka continues to frequent it.

(Incidentally, if you look closely, you can see on the left above the couch is a poster for "Latchkey Kingdom" which in this particular universe is a video game franchise of some sort~ Used entirely without permission. :)

Kendra: Boone LaBeau, the father of the LaBeau children. He actually took his wife's family name, which isn't uncommon with Rabbits; they're pretty matriarchal.

In some of the many panels we can see Pekka having a bone healed, , a birthday cake, Pippin's deck of cards, tiny Pippin and Paolo bathtime....

Jess: What a page to come out and talk about this~ Okay, so I just want to bring attention now to something I've been doing for this whole comic so far, something I find special and such~

Depending on who the current character it is that we're following, the background has changed to focus on how they view the world or the situation at the current moment! Pippin takes in all of the details except for when they don't. Bard looks at the whole situation, but focuses more on Pippin. Pekka... refuses to wear his glasses, and everything's fuzzy and less defined u.u

Kendra: Pippin is mildly nearsighted - the contacts help, but of course one was missing, and that shiner didn’t do any favors.

Bard is extremely detail oriented, and takes in everything, but his object of focus will always be those people and things he particularly cares about.

Pekka is somewhat far sighted, is too vain to wear glasses, and too squeamish to wear contacts.
