Databar Coded Barcode Generation & Enhanced Barcode Detection from BMP Images using Java
What’s new in this release?
Aspose team is pleased to announce the new version of Aspose.BarCode for Java 17.10.0. This release includes enhanced DatabarLimited and DatabarExpandedStacked coded barcode generation process. Furthermore overall performance of the API has also been improved in this release. DatabarLimited barcode generation process has been improved. The functionality has been improved in such a way that it now allows only (01) AI and 0 or 1 symbol in main data. Generation process of DatabarExpandedStacked has been improved. Aspose.BarCode generator now process the the last row as special case. Pharmacode barcode recognition process has been enhanced. It is now working with property Aspose.BarCode.Recognition.AllSupportedTypes. Whereas generation process now calculates correct bar height. Barcode recognition process have been improved to detect barcodes from BMP format image. MacroPdf417 barcode recognition process has been improved.. Below is the list of main improved features and bug fixes added in this release.

Jenis – Jenis Barcode
Ketika anda pergi ke sebuah tempat perbelanjaan tentu anda akan menemukan barcode, dan ketika anda membayar barang belanjaan tentu anda akan melihat seorang kasir melakukan scann barcode dan tak lama kemudian munculah harga barang di komputer. Dengan barcode data yang di dapat akan lebih cepat. Namun apakah anda tahu pengertian barcode? Dan kali ini saya akan membahas tentang pengertian barcode dan jenis-jenis kode barcode. Barcode sendiri memiliki pengertian kumpulan baris yang memiliki warna hitan dan putih dengan ketebalan yang berbeda-beda, di dalam barcode terdapat informasi identitas barang seperti nama negara yang memproduksi, nama perusahaan dan kode produksi. Di bawah ini ada jenis-jenis kode barcode berdasarkan fungsinya.
a. Unoform product code atau biasa di singkat UPC, jenis kode barcode ini memiliki fungsi untuk checkout penjualan barang, persediaan barang, dan sebagainnya biasanya digunakan pada toko retail.
b. Code 39 atau code 3 of 9 berfungsi untuk identivikasi, untuk inventarisasi, dan mengirim pelacakan.
c. Postnet biasa digunakan untuk pos encoding di US mail.
d. European article number atau biasa di sebut EAN memiliki fungsi untuk superset dari UPC yang memungkinkan digit ekstra untuk mengidentifikasi sebuah negara.
e. Japanese article number (JAN) jenis kode barcode ini hampir sama dengan EAN, dan hanya digunakan di jepang.
f. Bookland jenis barcode ini biasanya di pakai pada sampul buku.
g. ISSN barcode yaitu jenis kode barcode berdasarkan nomor ISSN dan biasa di pakai di majalah di luar AS.
h. Code 128 yaitu kode barcode yang di pakai dalam preferensi untuk code 39 dikarenakan lebih kompak.
i. Interleaved 2 of 5 biasa dipakai pada industri pelayaran dan gudang.
j. Codabar biasa dipakai oleh Federal Express pada perpustakaan atau bank darah.
k. Magnetic ink character recognition (MICR) yaitu front yang khusus dipakai untuk nomor pada bagian bawah cek bank.
l. OCR-A yaitu sebuah format penenalan karakter optik yang di pakai pada sampil buku, pada nomor ISBN supaya mampu di baca manusia.
m. OCR-B biasanya dipakai untuk mempermudah pembacaan barcode versi UPS, JAN, EAN, Bookland, ISSN dan Code 39.
n. Maxicode dipakai oleh United Parcel Service.
o. PDF417 yaitu jenis barcode 2 dimensi yang bisa encode hingga 1108 byte informasi.
Barcode jika dilihat dari dimensinya, barcode ada 2 macam yaitu barcode satu dimensi dan barcode dua dimensi.
1. Barcode satu dimensi atau 1D linear barcode. yang menggunakan barcode 1 dimensi seperi code 39, code 128, codabar, code 25, code 93, code11, ITF 14, EAN 8, EAN 13, JAN 8, JAN 13, UPC A, UPC E, ISBN, ISSN, logmars, plessey, telepon, FIM, pharmacode dan postnet.
2. Barcode 2 dimensi atau 2D matrix barcode yang menggunakan barcode 2 dimensi seperti QR code, micro QR code, AZTEC code, code ONE, data matrix, grid matrix, PDF417 dan microPDF417.
Barcode banyak memiliki keuntungan diantaranya:
a. Memasukan data lebih cepat, dengan menggunakan barcode anda dapat meng input data lebih cepat apabila dibandingkan proses input data secara manual yang memakan waktu cukup lama.
b. Memasukan data lebih akurat, dengan teknologi barcode data yang dihasilkan lebih tepat.
c. Meminimalisir kesalahan input data, dengan menggunakan barcode data yang masuk lebih akurat sehingga mampu meminimalisir kesalahan yang dapat merugikan perusahaan.

What’s new in this release?
The new version of Aspose.BarCode for JasperReports 17.11.0 has been released. Major development of this release includes support to generate the postal barcode with specified height and databar coded barcode with segments per row.
