When they were younger, they had this kind off kid rivalry. Fundy would slip away from the van and met this rabid blond boy in the woods, grab the strongest stick, and just duel. It started as an error bc when they first crossed paths Dream got scared and hit Fundy with a big stick.

When teenagers, the duals slowly become just vibe in a flower field. Fundy was there when Dream got his mask for the first time. Fundy was also one of the people Dream told about not being a human (not that Fundy didn't know. Dream had eyes too unsettling, sharp nail and canines, and sometimes it felt as if his mouth was larger than it should. Also the tail and pointy ears, that was an easy given). Fundy would talk about the trips he had with his family and about the drug lab. Talk about big cities and lonely beaches. He knew Dream didn't had no one who would take him to these various places, so Fundy did his best to bring these places to Dream

After a while, the duties of being the World's rulee caught up to Dream, and he stopped appearing in the woods, leaving Fundy waiting for hours, until he also stopped going and decided to forget about the cute enderdragon hybrid he once played spare in the woods

They meet again after years, and its in the middle of a battle for L'Manberg' independence

It doesn't go well, as you may know

Fundy kept it as a secret, and after having his home bombed for the first time, it was a good choice

They didn't even look at each other for another couple of years, until they were face to face in the middle of a Manberg Cabinet reunion. Fundy, thinking it was enough of a time to heal, decided to reach out and call his former friend for a walk in the woods

Its almost immediate. They go back to their old dynamic in a flash. The giggles and jokes flew perfectly, and they were adults now. It was the best moment to keep it going

So they did

And so, talks and walks later, Fundy calls Dream for a date, face as red as the little salmon scales on the back of his hand. And Dream, with a stupid smile behind his mask, accepts it
