She's observed long enough to understand how these "quests" worked. A person created by the system becomes targeted by a monster. Its comrade runs to their rescue to find an adventurer. Only to run back to see it’s too late.  The event would repeat when someone else drew close enough to initiate the quest.

Time was cruel. Its cycle sending more than one person astray. Catching many people up in its web. And who knew better than she.

This game seemed to run on an endless cycle which they could only hope to escape from.

Her eyes were still set elsewhere, however, and she seemed a bit nervous. They’ve done this plenty of times before, yet she was flustered as ever. Rin straightened out as he moved to press his lips against hers. She kissed him back gently, her hands resting on his shoulders.

Best experience: I RAN A GUILD ON WOW AND INCREASED ITS LIFESPAN BY 2 YEARS!! I’m still so proud of the lore I wrote for that guild and the participation of my members. There were lots of hiccups along the way, but we really made the guild work.

Multi or Single: SINGLE. And even then, I’m iffy. I’ve had too many instances where the other person fell for me and I’d rather that not happen again. I only EVER ship with close friends and my boyfriend because I can’t trust anyone else.

You should know that by now.” She seemed almost hurt by such an assumption, but chose not to shift the conversation into her favor. She eyed him carefully, extending a hand to perhaps rest on his shoulder, if he let her.

“You did nothing wrong, Emiya-kun. I.. I misspoke,” she answered, averting his gaze. “I.. I just meant that.. ” Never mind. It was probably best she kept her mouth shut for now. “Forget it.”

I know you wanna get out of here as much as I do, but don’t you think we should take this more seriously?” She rubbed her temples for a moment before fiddling with her rod, tapping it gently and moving to sit on the ground.
