Two successful launches for RCM 

The complete through-wall solutions provider RCM says it managed to complete two successful launches in just one month: a new website and a new exhibition stand.

RCM’s new website is said to offer visitors a great depth of information at their fingertips. Navigation on the new site has also been redesigned and visitors can now easily find their way around the site. The main navigation button on the site is split into the main product sections: building boards, façades, airtightness solutions and fixings and insulation. Within each of these categories there is a product overview, as well as technical data and downloadable certificates of conformity and declarations of performance (where applicable).

Furthermore, the Sample Basket feature has been introduced, where visitors will be able to order their samples online with only a few simple clicks.

RCM says it is looking forward to growing the site organically, as more products and projects, as well as case studies and news stories are added over time.

Ian Quinton, managing director of RCM, commented: “We are excited about our new website launch and the great wealth of information it provides for customers and visitors alike. We believe that our new site will allow our visitors to have an informative experience as we continue to grow and increase our presence in the market.”

The other major launch this month was the newly designed and built RCM exhibition stand, which premiered at the recent Timber Expo, UK Construction Week at the NEC on 10th – 12th October.

The stand enhanced all the colourful façade samples and the Supertech cladding RCM have to offer, which were displayed for visitors to see.

Another attractive design feature was achieved using eight revolving through-wall models, which showed the materials involved in different through-wall solutions. This provided visitors with a real understanding of how the different materials fit together, as well as being a tactile object which could be further explored by rotating the model and looking at it from several angles.

During the recent Timber Expo show at the NEC in Birmingham, RCM received numerous complimentary comments about the new stand design and its features. RCM says it is planning to use the new stand at the RCI show, which will be held at the Ricoh arena in Coventry on 1st and 2nd November (stand number: J5).

Dai Roberts, sales director at RCM, added: “I am proud of our team at RCM for achieving such a lot in such little time. The exhibition stand is a perfect vehicle for RCM to showcase our products in the best possible light. Façades are on show in various colours, as is the colour range of Supertech Weatherboard, our rainscreen cladding system. Small building board samples are also incorporated, so visitors are able to take samples with them on the day. Best of all is the fact that most of the stand is built out of Cemboard, RCM’s very own high-performance cement bonded particle building board. A great stand all round – useful and visually pleasing!”
