Deepika and Ranveer to pair for the first time post wedding

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are paired together for the first time post wedding in the upcoming film ‘83’. Film ‘83’ will be directed by Kabir Khan and it will be their fourth film together, all three films before were directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and each of them were a big hit on the box office. All three Bhansali films done by Deepika and Ranveer were love tragedies.

Deepika was initially reluctant to do the film but later on she joined the project. As the film ‘83’ is based on the life of former cricketer Kapil Dev, there might not have much scope for Deepika to prove her skills. Deepika will be playing the role of Kapil Dev’s wife Romi Dev in the plot of off-field life of Kapil Dev. She has done back to back author-backed lead roles in movies like ‘Piku’, ‘Ram Leela’, ‘Bajirao Mastani’, ‘Padmaavat’, and her latest film ‘Chhapaak’ and this will definitely not a central role but Ranveer has convinced Deepika. Rest of the convincing is done by the remuneration offered to Deepika by Khan which is believed to be Rs 14 Crores.

Business Standard: With Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh completing their two-day nuptials in a location overlooking the picturesque Lake Como in Italy, Ranveer's Mumbai residence has been decked up with serial lights and flowers to welcome the newlyweds.

While the entrance of the house was covered in a string of golden lights, branches of trees in the area were also seen lit up to celebrate the occasion.

B-Town's power couple tied the knot in Lake Como in a traditional Konkani ceremony on November 14, while a Sindhi wedding was organised on November 15, both of which were attended by close-knit relatives of the two actors.

Harshdeep was, in fact, one of the first to arrive at Villa del Balbianello on the second day of the 'DeepVeer' wedding. However, it all came to an end as the newlywed couple - who had released their official pictures to the media in India at the end of the day- decided to make the media wait some more into the evening and fading light to leave Villa del Balbianello. According to an international fashion shopping website Lyst’s Jewellery 2020 report, pearls have emerged as one of the year’s hottest jewellery trends for men. Pageviews for freshwater pearl anklets have increased 67 per cent since January, while searches for pearl drop earrings are up 25 per cent.
