Good morning and welcome to Christmas week.  Hope the holidays treat you well. I'm finally feeling close to what is normal for me.  So, it's back to work on the two books I've been working on.  Along with those, I had a new idea come to me during a quiet moment, so I'll be tackling that as well.  So many stories to write... I've also got to do one more read-through of The Alchemist and start getting it set up for release.  And, I need to do another round of edits on the second release of 2019.  I hope you're as excited for the upcoming releases as I am. Good morning.  I'm happy to report, the furnace is working properly and we didn't freeze into solid blocks of ice overnight.  After a couple more hours, the outside temps will have warmed up considerably and I'll be able to turn the furnace off until the next cold front blasts through.  Gotta love life in Northern Florida.  LOL Anyhoo, even while shivering greatly, I managed to get some writing done yesterday.  I added almost 1500 words and completed the second chapter of the new book I'm working on.    Unfortunately, that's about all I accomplished, thanks to the constant texting back and forth with my landlady over the furnace issue.   So, today, it's catch-up time.  A bit of writing, then audio file proofing and editing.  Wish me luck! Good morning and happy Tuesday.  Today looks to be a great day weather-wise.  A bit cloudy this morning, but plenty of sunshine later in the afternoon and temps in the 60s.  My kind of weather.  What's your weather like? Well, since I've got the one audiobook proofed, I'm letting the other sit until next week.  My ears need a break from the earbuds.  So, it looks like Editing Cat is visiting today. Yep, that's right, I'm be doing the first round of edits on some of next year's releases, including Elven Origins, Tales of the Hunters, The Alchemist, and a second round on The Candy Shoppe.  That should fill this week up nicely.  Then, next week, it'll be back to writing in the morning and proofing Faery Fire audio files in the afternoon.  Yep, I'll be busy until the end of the year, but it's so worth it to have several releases close to ready to go. Good morning.  Imagine my surprise waking up at 4 am and being unable to go back to sleep.  Yep, I've been up that long!  Should make for an interesting day. Yesterday, I started work on my next project, the first book in the Fallen Angels series.  I'm excited to tell Lucifer/Luca's story. Due to the stormy weather, my Internet was spotty, so didn't get as much audio file proofing done as I'd like.  We're still having lots of rain, but I'm hoping to get files proofed today.  I won't get all of them done, but I hope to make a dent in them.  Wish me luck. Good morning.  It's Monday and I'm exhausted.  Although I'm getting better at getting up a bit earlier, I can't for the life of me get to bed at a decent time.  And, if I do, it takes me two hours or longer to fall asleep.  Silly body!  Anyhoo, enough about my sleep issues.  Hope your day is going great. I was lazy this weekend.  I admit it, but sometimes, ya just gotta do nothing.  LOL Today, I don't see much writing getting done, as the repairman is coming back out any time now to replace the gaskets to the fridge doors.  Hopefully, that won't take too long as my brother gets anxious when others are in the house. I do plan to work on getting the pre-order set up.  Hopefully KDP has worked out their issues and I can finally upload the book and cover.  Fingers crossed. Good morning!  A new week, another chance to do what we love! Although I'm a bit tired this morning, I do believe my Creative Muse has returned.  We'll find out in a bit, as I plan to get back to writing today.  I'm hoping to finish the rough draft of the first Hunters book by the end of the month, then start a new Myths & Legends story.  That one I may submit to an anthology.  If it's accepted, it'll release in it.  If not, I'll release it myself next year.  Either way, wish me luck. After my writing time, I'll begin editing the first on next year's releases.  I have two in the Myths & Legends series that tie into the Elves.  The first tells the origins of the Elves of Paer-Jhysael, and the other tells of a dark time in Elven history.  All leading to what I hope to be a new series I'll start releasing sometime in 2020.  I also have another Twisted Classic waiting for editing.  That one is a twisted retelling of Hansel & Gretel. Happy Halloween/Samhain!  Hope you have a great day, no matter how you spend it.   Yesterday I started plotting out my next book.  It will be the first in a new series called Elven Society.  Yep, we're going back to the worlds of the Elves in my Mystic Realms.  Did you catch that I said worlds?  Hopefully, that'll peak your interest.  Anyhoo, I've made a start, but still have much to do before I can begin writing the story. However, that will have to wait, as I must get the paperback version of the anthology done.  I've been working on it for a few days now after writing, but KDP has been a royal pain and I still don't have it ready to go.  So, that must be my focus today. Good morning.  It's a wet Thursday in my neck of the woods.  Supposed to rain all morning, then finally dry out in the afternoon/evening.  We finally have our Autumn weather with highs in the 70s and lows in the 50s.  My perfect temperature sweet spot!  How's your day so far? I don't know about you, but this meme says it all this week!  Happy Tuesday!  A bit rainy here, but that's a good thing, as it makes for a grand writing day. I must admit, the Alchemist was strangely quiet yesterday.  I think he knows what is coming and is trying to prevent it from happening.  However, he cannot change his history, so he is going to have to let me write it.  I have a feeling it will be as pulling eye teeth trying to get him to talk to me.  Wish me luck! I thoroughly enjoyed the latest Good Witch Halloween movie that marks the upcoming season five.  I enjoyed it so much, I watched it three times.  LOL  Looking forward to the new season this coming Spring. Has anyone else been restless of late?  It's hit me hard.  I'm restless during the day, unable to focus long on any one thing, and at night, I move in and out of deep sleep, not totally waking up, but enough I'm aware of what I'm doing, which is tossing and turning.  I'm so tired, because I am not getting enough sleep, and frustrated because I can't focus.  I hope y'all aren't having to deal with it. Happy Friday Eve!  How ya doing?  I'm doing well.  I actually woke up less tired this morning, so that's a good thing.   Yesterday, writing was glorious.  I added over 2600 words to my WIP.  I'm hoping to do the same today.   Shh...come closer and I'll tell you a secret.  Are you listening?  One of the scenes I wrote yesterday was of the Vampire Queen turning a Wizard.  Just imagine all the possibilities to come!  ;) Well, time to get to it.  More words are waiting to be transcribed.  Have a great day, stay awesome, and I'll see you in the Mystic Realms.
