Raye: You all right, man?

Elliot: Oh, birthdays just always make me emotional. Our girls are growing up this season, too. And we've got to expand the house so they have their own space, but money's tight...

Raye: Well, let me know if you need some extra hands to help with the construction. My back's not waht it used to be, but I'm still a decent bricklayer.

Like I've said before, birthdays in Hollyhead are a big deal! And Heath's the first boy to be born here, so we were all pretty excited.

But, um, safe to say poor Heath's thunder was a little stolen when a brawl broke out! Caryl's always been a loose cannon, but I was shocked to see Pyxis throwing hands - she's usually so laid back!

Clive: Thanks for coming, you two.

Raye: Want us to stay for dinner?

Clive: Trying to get a free meal, are we? No, you’d best leave me to myself. I’m afraid I won’t be good company, tonight.

Emmie: So does it seem normal between them to you, or is it just me? I feel like there’s a kinda tension in the house?

Raye: I wouldn’t worry about it, Em. One flirt isn’t the end of the world. Robert and Clive have always been solid.

Emmie: Mmmm, I hope so. I don’t know what I’d do if they split up!

Raye: How are Kitchi and Donkey? They must be getting pretty old...

Robert: They are, yeah. I don’t really like thinking about it.

Emmie: Yeah, mortality really is a bummer... hey, Raye, what if we got a kitten or something?

Clive: Sorry about the fish. My mind must have been miles away.

Raye: The salmon’s really not bad, Clive! I think it’s better when it’s a little charred.

Emmie: Totally! You should make it an option at the restaurant.

Emmie: Hey hey! We’re not too early for dinner, are we?

Robert: Oh! I’d almost forgotten.

Emmie: You forgot our weekly dinner????

Robert: I said almost.

The Aisling family paid a little trip recently to Anabelle’s little side-hustle: Showtime Farm Park. I’d give it 4/5 stars - she needs to get some kind of rain coverage over that stage! Otherwise it’s a pretty great spot, we had a total blast!!

It’s also kind of amazing Anabelle manages to run the place on her nights off while also acting as a firefighter, right? She’s so industrious!!

Sometimes I really do think Salim is the secret to Myrna’s business sucess! Everyone loves stopping by to give the cat a cuddle even if they’re not planning on buying anything - and once they’re hear getting them into a buying mood isn’t all too difficult. Even without being able to speak simlish, Salim’s quite the furry little salesman.

Benjie, really????? Jeez, well, things certainly seem complicated in Iago’s love life recently! Not that it’s a journalist’s place to comment on such things, but if you ask me he needs to just embrace his player phase and stop worrying about settling down into a serious relationship! Easier said than done, I suppose… matters of the heart are always tricky to figure out!

Anyway, that is well and truly all there is to report from the Aisling household! It’s pretty quiet here these days with just the two of us... not that I’m complaining, but as a news reporter I’m always after the big story, you know? Who knows, perhaps this is just the quiet before the storm! Heh, better not jinx it.
