Check out our collaboration with Christian Lahoude Studio for Sulwhasoo’s new prototype store in Guangzho, China. Features in design:retail and Interior Design offer insight to a strong concept and design interpretation based on brand heritage and product ingredients, all expertly completed with equally inspired lighting design. Form and function were well entwined with backlit perimeter displays and glowing pedestals evoking the diffused lighting effect of Hanji paper lanterns, while providing an optimally shadow-less skincare experience.

Notice how our lighting design illuminates and accentuates the merchandise and architecture of the lovely Dolce&Gabbana Saint Barthelemy Boutique in this D&G produced video. Also from D&G is this summary of the design concept with commentary by architect Steven Harris.

Pure Liquid Wine & Spirits is gaining notice. Retail industry magazine, design:retail, makes thoughtful note of how elements of our lighting design help unite form and function.
Please enjoy the beautifully detailed video tour of the space by architectural photographer, Kris Tamburello.

CoMoS’ lighting design for Barneys Beverly Hills was among other excellent winning projects to be honored at the 42nd Annual IES Illumination Awards. Natalia Lesniak gratefully collected the award on behalf of her colleagues and reported back on how enjoyable and informative the weekend long IESNA conference was overall. Our new Illumination Award of Excellence has found a happy home next to last year’s Award of Distinction for Waldorf=Astoria Park Avenue Lobby and Entry here at the studio. Follow this link to learn more about the IES and the wonderful work they do for the professional lighting community.
