Yukio haters are some of the funniest people out there. Mostly because they're often Rin fans I swear and that influences a lot of their takes. They're so upset that a character has deep flaws and isn't a literal sunshine baby to Rin. They take it so personally like he's a real person.

Even then it's frustrating because they reduce Rin down to nothing. He too has some deep flaws that make Yukio andhim butt heads. And sometimes Yukio's anger at him is justified! Rin never takes the situation he's in seriously until it's too late. And by that point Yukio's already in deeper with other issues. Them butting heads isn't because Yukio's an ass only. It's because they're both refusing to listen to one another and actually speak on their problems.

It's totally more on Yukio's end with his own problems being much stronger. But neither are these perfect angels. They're interesting characters that have deep issues with each other. And they're just starting to work it out. There's going to be bumps in the road, but Yukio is trying his best in the recent chapters. And so is Rin.

It's just turned form frustrating to funny now to see people get upset at Yukio. I would rather him be the mess he is than be the actual perfect character type he's a deconstruction of. It wouldn't be aoex without him and boy would it be so boring.

i may have found the perfect room.

aside from the rent (which is twice as expensive as what i'm paying rn), the room looks nice and i already know the house + location + house rules + landlady, since i already went to view another room in the very same house prior to today.

i just feel like i'm indirectly being told it's the right place by whatever power is running the universe atp, because i already liked this house the most out of the other options ー it's just that the previous room i saw was a little small and it's been claimed by another tenant now. but then the landlady contacted me again and offered me a bigger room with the same price because the tenant is moving out at the end of this year. which is perfect because i plan to move next year. and just today i found out the gym franchise i used to regularly go to has an outlet 4 stations away. it's ticking so many boxes aside from the 💰, but i think that's something i will have to put up with regardless, because all the other rooms want the same price or even higher these days.

going viewing this wednesday. wish me luck 🤞🏻

okay so full disclaimer i haven't touched the anime since i was maybe like. fifteen or something? so my memories of it are a bit fuzzy however Comma, i remember it being pretty good except for when they went anime original in season 1! it adapts the manga faithfully until like s1 ep 15 or somewhere around there, and then the rest of season 1 sucks. bad. BUT for season 2 they just. act like the anime original shit never happened and start to adapt the manga again from where they left off, and from what i remember season 2 was really great i have very very fond memories of the anime impure king arc!! so if you don't want to sit through anime original stuff then you can just skip it it has literally no bearing on season 2 or anything going forward, its a very clean and easy skip. the animations alright (aside from some poor, dated cg lol) and i remember the voice acting being really great! it was very nice to see the characters move around and talk lmao, so with all that in mind yeah i'd recommend it if you're interested at all!
