[It has been 13 hours since Erin passed out. She wakes up on a cot confused with her heart still beating slow but faster than before. She looks around, her eyes still adjusting to the lighting and surroundings. She tries to touch her head but immediately pulls away, wincing at the pain. But it wasn’t just her head that hurt like a bitch, almost everything was hurting. After a few moments, Erin decides to call out to anyone that was in the room with her.]

[Erin stands there in slight shock, about to say something but decides to not question it, there’s been weirder stuff. She goes on ahead to peak around the corners, no one so far. She turns to Cass and whispers to her.]

Where do you think Toby is?

[her and Erin sneak over to the roof of the hotel, Cass’s tentacles helping them up. once they get to the roof Cass sees a door and points to it]

erin, over here. this should lead us inside

[cass walks up to the door and tries it. locked. she decides ‘to hell with it’ and uses her own strength and the tentacles to rip the off its hinges.]

[Erin and Cass had left the lair and hurried their way to Big Mama’s battle nexus. Erin was wearing her classic “Azalea” outfit just for the occasion with her battle axe on her back.]

[Once they were in the Hidden City, they hid close by the battle nexus so they could plan. Erin pulls down her mask so she could speak clearly.]

So what’s the plan?

[Erin wakes up in the stool she was on. Before she could process her surroundings, her eyes land on Toby’s empty cot. She jumps out of stool and looks around the entire room. Nobody. She lets out a chuckle of disbelief and exasperation before Erin dashes out of the Medbay to look around the entire lair for Toby.]

You’ve gotta be fucking kidding me.

[She looked everywhere, even in the places she would least likely be at. But no luck. She was back at the Medbay with no Toby. All the built up worry and frustration forced a few tears out of her eyes. She couldn’t even protect one single friend. Erin balls her hands into fists before she screamed her anger out.]

FUCK!!!!

[She immediately realized her mistake. She wipes her tears away quickly, cursing under her breath as she tries to make a break for the Medbay entrance to go out and look for Toby, not realizing who was in front of it.]

[Erin was in the middle of making a sandwich when she sees the scene. She jumps out of her chair with the sandwich in hand ready to throw it at Cass.]

WHAT THE FUCK-??

[When Cass passes out, Erin realizes who it is and rushes over without a second thought, cursing under her breath. She helps Cass up, holding her arm around Erin’s shoulder and starts to head to the Medbay.]

[Once she gets to the Medbay, Erin places Cass on one of the empty cots. She only felt relief and regret for not being able to save Cass sooner. Erin rubs the ridge between her eyebrows wishing Leo was here for this too before checking Cass for her injuries.]

[she stumbles to the door of the lair after walking through the sewers for what felt like ages. she mindlessly walks in, not noticing erin. she still has the tentacles coming out of her back, wiggling around as they please. she only makes it a few steps before her eyes go back to normal and she passes out]

[Erin jumps at the sound of Cass’s voice and quickly turns around. Relief spreads across her face when she realizes that it was just Cass. She was in the middle of putting supplies away after she was done tending to the wounds.]

JESUS CHRIST CASS!!! You scared the living shit out of me my goodness. How’re you feeling?

[she wakes up, blanked on all that happened. once shes gained enough consciousness she looks around. shes not at the cell. this is the medbay at the lair. she put her hand over her mouth didnt remember anything past being in that chair. it takes her a moment to even register Erin sitting not to far from her, faced away working on something]

Erin…is- is this real? what happened?

[Erin has been running for awhile now, numbing the pain with a potion every now and then, she hasn’t seen any EPF workers yet so that was a good sign but she can’t be too sure. All she could hear was the sound of her own heavy breaths with everything else muffled. Suddenly when she turns a corner, Erin runs into 2 people with horror spreading across her face. Her vision was blurred so she couldn’t tell who they were. Were they workers? Were they friends? She didn’t want to take the chance. She backs up and runs in a different direction, everything was hurting.. she didn’t know where she was. But she needed to get away.]

[Cassandra lands in an alley after a successful thieving mission. she was making a name for herself in the company, having had experience with this line of work. he leaned against the wall, sighing with satisfaction. she was right, it was fulfilling to do this again. it felt right.

she put away her throwing knives into her holsters, moving into the darker part of the alley, looking up at the sky]

[Erin only stood there watching Cass, still gripping her axe. She blinked a few times and stopped staring into space when Leo called to her. She looks away from him with a frustrated, regretful look as she puts her axe against the wall and crosses her arms before sighing.]

I-… agree with what Mikey said back there.. it was really stupid to literally sneak out in the middle of an apocalypse where there’s a bunch of- Kraang- out there.

[She pinches the ridge between her eyes and takes a deep breath to try not to go “full Mexican mom” on his stupid ass (/aff).]

God we could’ve lost you or worse…

Lets just continue checking your injury, or just in case untreated injuries, ok?

[she walks with leo to the medbay, erin following close behind. she sits him down as she goes to get new bandages. she sits next to her, putting down the bandages next to her and starts to lightly unwrapping his bandages]

Look over there! We can beat that guy up and just walk in, easy peasy!!

[Erin yelps when she’s pulled back by the rope, making her drop her battle axe. Her ragged breaths start to quicken and she tries to break free despite the pain of her dislocated shoulder.]

PLEASE!! LET ME GO!!! I WANT TO GO HOME!!!

[Her frantic pleas turn into sobs, blood from her nose dripping to the floor with her tears. She drops to the floor to at least touch her axe, when her finger is placed on the axe her eyes start to flicker yellow. She tried and tried again to activate her electricity, or at least a electric force field but it would only flicker on and off.]

[Cassandra lands in an alley after a successful thieving mission. she was making a name for herself in the company, having had experience with this line of work. he leaned against the wall, sighing with satisfaction. she was right, it was fulfilling to do this again. it felt right.

[Erin grabs the dagger and slices the bracelet off of Toby. She staggers up quickly and backs up from Toby.]

Give Toby some space!

[Then, Erin throws the bracelet onto the floor hard and stomps on it a few times, breaking it with her bare heel (but also hurting her own foot in the process). She takes a few deep breaths before her legs give out and she falls to her knees, she feels like she’s about to pass out.]
