But he found a means of escape, however much it may have cost his sanity to reach it. Shivering and shaking, fingers digging into the sand of Nommin, praying in silence that one of the island's few predators hasn't decided that daft old men were on the menu. The little boat of his dragged up onto shore by his side, somewhat of a life preserver even on shore, even as he doesn't intend in the SLIGHTEST to board it again. Leg shifts, and he quietly whines in pain.
