Susi finally got a wig I’ve been meaning to order since 2020, and she looks perfect in it, just like I imagined!

I’ve tried to order this wig twice, but due to covid shipping restrictions I kept being refunded and told to order later. But now I got it and I am so thrilled with how she looks!

The what is what:

Sculpt: April Story Betty on the New SD16 girl body with small bust

Wig: Can-Can J-Series in 7-8

Outfit: partial Doll Heart (corset) and unknown leggings

my last doll for the next year (at least) is here and she's perfect

the wig and clothes are temporary, as is her body. i want her to have the new(ish) impldoll 62cm body, but the old impl star body is completely fine for now. a big plus to the old body is she can wear the sd16 sized heels i have. her head is a little darker than her body, but not enough to bother me.

let's see if i have the spoons this week to paint her, i'd like to get her faceup and tae's done this week, but we'll see. i have a wig in mind, cos that fuckass bob is not the vibes. it looks nice, but it's not her style. might put the volks wig that came with my old noa on until she gets the new one.

if anyone's curious, moira can wear 12mm eyes, if you like a lot of iris. regular 14s are nothing but iris. 14mm small irises look the best, specifically a 14/5.

SD16 - Swift Dragocycle

Smaugust Day 16: Swift [ 2023 ] This is Dragocycle, a Steel/Dragon Fakemon. Just something I doodled up quickly - as a sort of "what if there was a more straight-forward motorcycle dragon Pokemon." I feel Koraidon and Cyclizar really suffer from not having actual wheels, and both look goofy when you ride them. So I wanted something that was more straight-forwardly cool. And also a common Pokemon with a simpler design - this is not a Legendary. It's also partially inspired by Grani, Gallantmon's mount from the Digimon series. [Smaugust is an art challenge in August where one must draw one dragon a day.]

I finally did my great big bjd lineup for 2022 back in September. This year there are 56 dolls in the lineup, though I didn't include 3 dolls as they are identical duplicates (same head and body sculpt combos). Most are mine, though a small portion belong to my wife.

I realize now that I should have shoved the Soom boys in the 70cm+ section into the 1/3+ section instead, as they wouldn't be this tall without their fantasy parts.

Taking the pictures was a half day ordeal as I would only setup at most 6 dolls in one go, always making the last of one image the first of the next. Then it took me another couple of hours to select the best images and manually edit and merge them into one long lineup since I unfortunately do not own anything long enough to setup all the dolls into one giant line.

I hope this is hopeful to at least some people, to help them visualize just how big the differences are between the size ranges, and even within!

Not a bad price at all. Winter Smile Nono head and..... I think that's the SD16 body? I don't know the bodies taller than SD13, honestly.
