Summary: Welcome to the apocalypse. The demo-infection has taken hold of the world, and humans are a rare thing these days. Still, people hang on to civilization in pockets across North America and beyond. Hawkins is one such place.  Steve Harrington is a scout who runs missions for Hawkins, and on one of those missions, he becomes separated from his scouting partner, Robin. He has to find his way across Indianapolis in an infected world, meeting one very important individual on the way, Eddie. The two of them must trust one another in order to journey across Indiana, while perhaps finding something softer to nurture with one another along the way.

The journey is full of romance, death, action, and suspense. A true slow-burn with over 52k words in total. This is a "The Last of Us" alternate universe. Enjoy this Steddie, and Platonic Stobin piece I've been pouring my heart into for ages. Make sure you check out the art, too!

This Stobin-centric story is about Robin learning how to love herself (with the help of her very queer life)! This is the chapter with the ultra cute, domestic steddie bit 💞🥰

Summary: Robin is in her depression and sort of floating along as she contemplates what she is going to do with her life. She has no goals, but she still wants to do things… she just doesn't know what those things are. She finds comfort in witnessing Steve and Eddie's romantic relationship and how well-suited they are for one another. They always brighten her mood, and help her refocus. We also get a glimpse into Robin's home life before she moved to New York with Steve, and what little love Robin had to live with.

This Stobin-centric story is about Robin learning how to love herself (with the help of her very queer life)! The first part of the story focuses on Robin losing her job and seeking comfort from her best friend, Steve. After moving to New York after graduation to work for a year before college, Robin has "lost her path" and isn't sure what she wants anymore.

Each chapter focuses on a different kind of love, and how difficult it is to find a place to belong when you're a young adult. (Especially when you're a young, queer adult in the 80s). The story has a happy ending though! So please enjoy this lovely platonic Stobin tale and the importance of having people in your life who love and support you.

This is actually my fav chapter. Lesbian activity... but all fluff and it made me feel so optimistic and happy to write. This Stobin-centric story is about Robin learning how to love herself (with the help of her very queer life)!

Summary: Robin visits the Museum of Natural History while in a bit of a funk. She feels isolated from the city… hopeless in some ways, until she happens upon a queer couple that brighter her day. They touch something deep inside her and bring her comfort like nothing else.

I don't know about you, but I always feel comforted when I see a queer couple being queer in public. It makes me ridiculously happy, and I think Robin would feel similarly. Here is a little snippet from the fic

We the Youth (1987) || Part Five || 3106 words

This is the final part of the mini-series!!!! This Stobin-centric story is about Robin learning how to love herself (with the help of her very queer life)!

Summary: Robin takes the time to go to the MOMA with Steve and Eddie. It's a much-needed break from the stress of her day-to-day, and Robin finds immense comfort hanging out with her two dorks at the art gallery. She adores her boys, and they adore her. This may be the first time in weeks that she has felt truly hopeful. Not only that, but the exhibit gives her a direction she hadn't been anticipating. Self-love is achieved!! Also, Eddie gets to run around like an idiot and piss off some art gallery guards.

This Stobin-centric story is about Robin learning how to love herself (with the help of her very queer life)!

Robin finds talking to her mother emotional, and the distress she feels after lying and having to face the reality of not knowing what to do with her life is burdensome. She has a proper breakdown over it, and Steve comforts her through it all. Best friends are there for a reason, and Robin can't help but feel like she has the most amazing best friend in the world.

Who amongst us doesn't feel like they have to impress their mom? I had a lot of fun delving into Robin's backstory and what I think her home life would have been like. It's not too harsh, for those worried, but it does leave Robin feeling isolated. But that's what Steve is for, right? Soulmates!
