The SIT discovered that Bishnoi was interviewed during his custody in Mohali’s Kharar, while a second interview was conducted in Rajasthan. The investigation revealed dereliction of duty among the seven suspended personnel, prompting the Punjab home secretary to issue an order on Friday for their suspension. The suspended officers include SP Gursher Singh Sandhu, DSP Sammar Vaneet, and sub-inspectors Reena, Jagatpal Jangu, Shaganjit Singh, assistant sub-inspector Mukhtiar Singh, and head constable Om Parkash.
